Matt Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 Doing it, Carpentry/Joinery Apprentice. Currently working for a Shopfitting Manufacturers, I am doing what I want to do and feel this is me, Shopfitting is fairly easy (Flat Pack work really) in the future I would like to go into a proper Joiners shop and make Stairs, Doors, e.t.c and then I would consider possibly doing some Site work. Basically learn the whole Carpentry/Joiner trade from Shopfitting to house bashing! Whats the point in doing a job you don't want to do or don't like, obviously no-one wants to do work, but you have to and you might as well enjoy it. If it means getting a qualification get it...Just make sure you use the qualification once you've got it.

Becoming partner in a big firm would be nice (nothing to do woth the £500k p.a. paycheck ) Other than that FD of Leicester City would be quality I'd make sure things were run properly and try not to get myself hated like Pierpoint in the process!
