lookwhaticando Posted 18 February 2006 Author Posted 18 February 2006 As much as I hate Palace, I'd like them to score against Millwall who I hate even more than Palace (then again, who doesn't?).
Molson Canadian Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 Foul by Patrick McCarthy (Leicester) on Rob Hulse (Leeds). Patrick McCarthy (Leicester) dismissed for serious foul play. Placed penalty taken right-footed by Robert Blake (Leeds) (bottom-right of goal), scored.Leicester 1-1 Leeds. no way it should have been a red card
MC Prussian Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 1-1 is not a bad result so far. I still can't believe that McCarthy got sent off. It all happened way too quick to me, right after Hume scored the leading goal for us. I don't want to go too far here, but could it be that the referees are halted to give penalties in favour of clubs who are in the top six in the table? Or is it because Leeds is Leeds? And if the referee was really standing 40 yards away (hence having no particularely good sight of the incident), then what a shame for English football that'd be. C'MON CITY!!!
Northants Fox Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 Barber's talking out of his **** again. Nothing new there then
Little Nicky Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 I can't believe Akinbiyi is still scoring, I thought he'd have been found out by now!
cisono Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 Watford scored from 50 yards!!!!!!!! Hahahahahahahaha biggrin.gif laugh.gif was the goalie off his line? Had the goalie popped over to the loo for a minute?
martyn Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 So what did McCarthy actually do?? Seems it's gone down as serious foul play instead of 'professional foul' so would be interested to gauge the incident as people have heard it.
cisono Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 Just got a text from a Leicester fan who's been watching the match. In his opinion, Paddy's foul did warrant a red card
theboywillmott Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 Table as it stands if results stay the same. 17 Hull 35 38 18 Soton 34 37 19 LEIC 35 37 20 Derby 35 35 21 Wed 35 34 22 Mill 35 29 23 Brigh 35 29 24 Crewe 35 23 If we can snatch 3 points today we would go above Hull! :clap2:
lesta fox Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 Liverpool won earlier by the way. You're quick
lookwhaticando Posted 18 February 2006 Author Posted 18 February 2006 Just got a text from a Leicester fan who's been watching the match. In his opinion, it was a red card fair game then. McCarthy is gonna feel like a right tit. And a left tit. Then he's gonna realize he let the team down. Coincidentally, who took the captain's armband since McCarthy left the field? I notice Tiatto, the alleged club captain, wasn't name captain on his return today. Rob Kelly obviously expected him to get sent off
cisono Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 fair game then. McCarthy is gonna feel like a right tit. And a left tit. Then he's gonna realize he let the team down. Coincidentally, who took the captain's armband since McCarthy left the field? I notice Tiatto, the alleged club captain, wasn't name captain on his return today. Rob Kelly obviously expected him to get sent off Instead Paddy got sent off again! PS Paddy is a harsh defender, often all over the player he is marking. (Rightly or wrongly) he thinks that is what defenders do. This explains why he gets booked/sent off rather often. [Don't say I didn't warn you!]
MC Prussian Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 We can still win this. All you gotta do is believe! (A red card against Leeds would also do it, though...) C'MON LEICESTER!!!
Molson Canadian Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 i have a feeling williams will be coming on in about 15 minutes
MC Prussian Posted 18 February 2006 Posted 18 February 2006 My theory: Everytime Tiatto plays for us, we concede a red card. Discuss.
