Stuliasz Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 Right, this is a call to everyone just to ask if you want me to continue with the ratings that I have been doing over the start of the season. The reason that I am asking is that the results never seem to get many reads and I'm wondering whether it is worth doing. So this is a poll that will be used along with another site to see if people are still interested.
Anish Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 Please carry on Sheffield Fox - you're doing a great job.
Ricey Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 I love reading them, plesae don't stop doing it mate.
Ric Flair Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 Please keep up the good work, it's great to keep up to date with away games that I can't go to.
Scow Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 It's an excellent feature because it provides a fairly accurate reflection of players performances.
Cobbo Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 Such a good idea to start doing it mate, I always read them. Please keep them going.
Sparky Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 i think its 1 of the best features of the website , keep it going
kerryh Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 You can't stop - it's a great feature - maybe someone else could help out and lighten the load! Who posts the most on here? i.e who has the most time on their hands?

Who works part time? I've helped out Sheffield Fox before when he didn't have internet access. I wouldn't mind for example collating the results from this forum. The players rating feature is a great feature - it would be very sad to lose that.
TrickyTrev Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 It is a fantastic feature and a very accurate guide to fans opinions. keep at it.
Stuliasz Posted 20 October 2004 Author Posted 20 October 2004 Well that's a pretty overwhelming response. I will add the ratings results from the last couple of games over the course of tomorrow and Friday. Can anyone give an explanation of why the results get so few reads though?

Can you actually tell how many read these posts as opposed to replying to them? I think they might not get a great response because not everyone here can go to the games - esp. the away ones.
Stuliasz Posted 21 October 2004 Author Posted 21 October 2004 No the results don't get hardly any replies and many actual viewings and therefore slip down the list of threads and into oblivion quite quickly. However I will post the results for the Preston league game, the Coventry and Ipswich games over this afternoon and this evening.

I normally say something like 'Good work Sheffield Fox', but other than that, we can't exactly debate whether the awards were fair because they are based on the averages that people have given.
