Phube Posted 28 February 2006 Posted 28 February 2006 Is it just me or are we the only club in the whole Football League not to have had an Own Goal scored for us?? Just thinking back to this weekend's results where at least 5 own goals were scored, and we ourselves have scored 2 for other teams... Just shows what our luck has been like all season!!

That 4 points more we should have had, putting us on 41 points and 17th in the league... obvoiusly all hypothetical but still, not ONE own goal for all season??!!

What I was trying to say was I would much rather our players score instead of getting own goals. Obviously if it was a choice between having a free own goal or not a goal at all then i'd take the own goal.

True I too would much prefer 'proper' goals, but still on the law of averages every team should get about 2 'own goals' a season... (P.s. none of this is sarcastic, even if it comes across that way... I just seem to write like that!)
SystonFox Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 we've only had 2 pens aswell? 1 against Watford at home and 1 against Leedsa away?! also we've only played against 10 men 4 times? QPR at home furlong got sent off with 1 min to go? Stoke had somebody sent off and Brighton the other week? and Millwall had a guy get a straight red... surely teams like Leeds get someone s/o each game!
