Leicester_Mad Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 What kind of reception will Ade get tomorrow?
Muz Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 bbbbbbbooooooooooooooooo Akinbyi what a willy puller what a willy puller
davieG Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 What kind of reception will Ade get tomorrow? 28556 Ignore him I hope, booing him will make him feel he's more important than he deserves to be, although he's not the problem it's the irresponsible managers that wasted the fans money on him - PT at the head of the queue
Cobbo Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 To be fair, why does he deserve to be booed? He didn't pay £5million for his services and when he was here he did try his best even though he was total cack. I'll just ignore him as Davie said.
Hoof Fox Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 To be fair to Ade although he stuggled in terms of ability, IMO he always gave 110% for the team, never hid hence why he got so much stick, for me he should get a great reception. Its a shame Dublin doesnt possess Ade's work rate, passion and commitment. At the end of the day it was not his fault that Taylor paid £5 million for him.
Mark Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 Ade is better than 3 of our current strikers anyway. Its just he cost a ridiculous price so that was unlucky for him, i'm happy to see him doing well dont know about anyone else. Blake, Benjamin, Dublin <_<
Wellman Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 i will clap him defo. IMO he tried his best for the club and sadly for him it wasn't enough. He was doing more than some of the players at the club at the moment, effort wise... so it's claps from me
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 what did the bloke do wrong, he wasnt the best player to play for us but he tried hard, as people have said hes better than some of the rubbish we've got now, IMO he was an honest hardworking player that just wanted to do well, he didnt ask peter taylor to sign him for 5 million, everyone should get off his back
Anish Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 I won't clap or boo. Just ignore. Yes he gave 100% every game he played for us, but that is the minimum I expect from players who don the shirt. He doesn't deserve a good reception just because he worked hard - that's their job and what they are paid to do. However, he doesn't deserve to be booed either because of the aforementioned reasons made by the other posters. It's not his fault that he isn't the most naturally gifted striker to ever grace LCFC. At least he put more effort in than some of the players we have today.

Solihullfox Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 Spot on Anish, 100% effort should be expected of every player so I shall adopt a lofty attitude of ignorance and grant him the charity of silence -
Jonbluefox9 Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 I was a bit disappointed at the response he got when he came off the bench for CP against us last time. I think doing nothing is the best thing to do. I still can't work out why the Kop gave Danny Coyne a standing ovation for the second half against Burnley. He asked Micky for two years eventhough we were only offering him one and then he said after one that he wanted to go. I certainly didn't clap him eventhough he put in the effort in the few appearances he made.

I was comparing our 3 first team strikers to Akinbiyi. Wright isnt a first team player as he never features. Simple as that. What you on about?

Still I'd rather have Trev than Ade.

Still I'd rather have Trev than Ade. 28621 No it is not rightly so. I'd have Ade over Trev, he has more ability than Benjamin, some of the fans just love him because they are desperate. Wont catch me falling into that catagory. He tries his hardest but it doesnt make him anywhere near a decent footballer. So Blake and Benjamin - wrongly so involved in the first team. Lets hear it.
Teeno Posted 22 October 2004 Posted 22 October 2004 Tommy Wright is hyped up and isn't 1/2 as good as you make out. He doesn't deserve to be in the 16. Trev has been one of our better players this season and should be starting everygame. But you have a set opinion on players and wont chaneg. No matter how good Trev plays yopu'll never prasie him.

And he didnt impress me on Saturday. Lets be realistic about things. He isnt even going to be here next season so lets build for the future and ship him out on loan to someone. And no i'm not indicating start Tommy Wright every game, he's injured anyway, suprise suprise.

He scored 13 goals i think in his 1st season, but he was poor, for 5 million. Extremely poor. I will Applaud him though, not a standing ovation though.

I thought in the ten minutes against Ipswich he looked really up for it and chased everything. and then game 3 games a go agasint Preston he played amazing for 20 minutes scored and then was injured.

I'd choose him over Blake and Dublin but that isnt going to happen. We have a terrible bunch of strikers i'm afraid bar Connolly who hopefully will come good.

Benjamin has improved alot lately. Him and Connoly could be a good partnership.
