dandannieldanok Posted 23 April 2006 Posted 23 April 2006 Does anyone remember when Paul Brooker was at City and what a big flop he was? But did you see his goal for Brentford yesterday against Swindon? A pacey run from inside his own half, drifting inside and outside the opposition, keeping the ball glued to his feet, before poking home. It was a great goal!
Jimmy Posted 23 April 2006 Posted 23 April 2006 a great goal by another player who never really got a chance when here
MC Prussian Posted 23 April 2006 Posted 23 April 2006 Just another one to add to the list of Leicester City underachievers...
Benji Posted 23 April 2006 Posted 23 April 2006 great goal the commentator needed change of pants after that he lvoed it so much
mat_j101 Posted 23 April 2006 Posted 23 April 2006 I agree. Didnt see him play that much but when i did i never understood why he didnt get more of a chance
Mark Posted 23 April 2006 Posted 23 April 2006 I agree. Didnt see him play that much but when i did i never understood why he didnt get more of a chance Because he was an average Championship player (now a decent League 1 player) fighting for a place in a Premiership team. Brilliant goal though.

Brooker looked as out of place in our premiership side as Hamill does in our current team, glad to see the guy has found his niche.
isaidno Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 Fantastic Goal. He wasn't good enougth for the premiership but would be ok in our team now as we are struggling for wingers.
