mat_j101 Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 Said in the interview with Chairman Taylor in the Mercury that he was "part of the fabric of the club. He's going no where. I want more ex-players involved with the club not less". Sounds good to me. I was well p****d off when I heard he was probably going. Ive never been to an away match and thought the bloke on the mike was better than Birch, so why get rid of him. He is a LEGEND
Phube Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 Good news, I've always had a soft spot for the Birch!!!
Louise Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 Good news. Although I'm still left confused as to what is going on behind the scenes at our club.
BartonFox Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 Good news. Although I'm still left confused as to what is going on behind the scenes at our club. Don't be Louise, what we have is a bunch of Execs trying to justify their salaries and existance within the game. Trust me when I say they view us the fans and even other football people as an inconvenience.
anotherwin Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 I'm well pleased with that news, nice bloke does loads for our club, a tireless ambassador for Leicester City FC.
Guest Gist Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 I'm happy with that two as long as he don't want to be paid to much.
Anish Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 I'm happy with that two too as long as he don't want to be paid to toomuch. You're confusing your 'too', 'to' and 'twos' there
The Stig Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 Glad hes staying, he's quality but im glad he doesn't read the teams anymore as I think the stadium announcer is better at it!
Thracian Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 Glad hes staying, he's quality but im glad he doesn't read the teams anymore as I think the stadium announcer is better at it! He might be in the team yet what with Brevett getting on the bench and all this talk about experience being needed.
Jamesino_LCFC Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 He is a true City legend. I would love to have a chant for him, but he has a bit of a dodgy name I guess to do so. Any ideas people?
Tubes Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 He is a true City legend. I would love to have a chant for him, but he has a bit of a dodgy name I guess to do so. Any ideas people? we've got alaan birch-enal
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 He might be in the team yet what with Brevett getting on the bench and all this talk about experience being needed. I'd rather have him playing then Syston under 12's.
