Scow Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 However just as Cocktail Wizards got better, Team Bothered suffered increasingly heavier defeats, starting at 0-2, and then descending to a 0-4 reverse against runners up Pro Emolution Rockers, before Cocktail Wizards did their stuff. Hardly a just reward for their players who had their shirts specially produced for the tournament (hopefully you didn’t pay the price per letter in the club shop). Who would have thought beforehand that we'd keep the Goal Difference down to under -15? I think the picture perfectly illustrates mine and Lisa's Team Bothered stance.
stez Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 It was an attempt to adhere to our principals. It seemingly worked. i was with you, thats why i didn't bother becoming our goal machine until our friendly

Swedging Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Bit disappointed in the number of teams not sporting a fat bloke in goal. Isn't that cheating at this level?

Durnerz Posted 16 May 2006 Author Posted 16 May 2006 Wow, we did better than last years group opponents of the Brown Stripes by scoring against them, and I got the goal, thats cheered me up a bit. We'll be back next year.
andy_croydz Posted 17 May 2006 Posted 17 May 2006 Well the quality of our team pic isnt very good  Spot me in the casual dress while everyone else is ready for a full hearted football match I'd just turned up late though and he took the pic straight away so it looks like i played in goal dressed like that

You should be ashamed.

A fox for life Posted 19 May 2006 Posted 19 May 2006 i thought we would be the only team in a proper kit, but surprisingly alot of teams did, good show lads.
