Guest Posted 9 June 2006 Posted 9 June 2006 Yes Lisa it is sad to want another human being dead, but if you think about what this one person sanctioned (the beheading of Ken Bigley for example) and the death of many others, he got his just deserts. I dont always agree with the phrase an eye for an eye etc but on this occasion he did indeed reap what he had sewn. It's the situation I find sad. What this man did makes me sick, but...oh forget it....I'm on a downer at the mo.
Bloomer Posted 9 June 2006 Posted 9 June 2006 This terrorist relinquished any rights to any clemancy when he not only orchestrated the deaths of so many, but preached such hatred and bile in the name of Islam. We should never celebrate or rejoice in such terminations, its not a cause for jubilation, but it is a releief that this mad killer is out of circulation and hopefully the way he was terminated may put the thought in others heads that such evil may not be such a good idea. It won't stop the insurgency, there are plenty of others determined to wreak havaoc, but its one less big fish to organise it all. War is a dirty filthy bloody business that brings out the very worst in humans. It is a blight on our human race and should be avoided at all costs, but once engaged, for whatever reason you have to use maximun agression to bring things to some sort of conclusion as quickly as possible. Or give in.
Daggers Posted 9 June 2006 Posted 9 June 2006 Also chewing gum is banned - it's amazing how clean the place is I don't get it. I never walk around Brum wondering why we have such a problem with chewing gum. I used to wonder why people put chewing gum under school desks, which would then get stuck to my knees. No, I wonder why we don't stick superglue in the arse of every dog. I would also like the outside of fast food packaging to be coated in glue. Plus, any shithead walking around spitting should have their mouth superglued to a dog's arse. Ha! And you thought the Singaporeans were tough!

World Cup starts in a few more hours... fill yourself with misguided optimism. Failing that, large quantities of alcohol. Hell - the opening ceremony included hip hop dancing and Claudia Schiffer. Now there's a thread!

Guest Posted 11 June 2006 Posted 11 June 2006 Sup Lease? You seem a bit down today, anything your ole bud Katy can help you with? Thanks for the offer, but I don't think so. I was very lairy last night, but one had been supping alcoholic beverages, and was being egged on by others.
