MC Prussian Posted 18 June 2006 Posted 18 June 2006 Just like the Croatia vs. Japan game, the Asian participants at this year's WC disappoint me big time. The French are too old, too slow and just don't want to score. The Koreans are swift, but lack toughness in one-on-one situations, and just can't score. Not one inch of tension, the lead for France was lucky (deflected by a Korean defender and right into Henry's feet). France will struggle massively in the next stage, should they qualify. Two crappy teams in a crappy game.

Henry, Barthez, Vieria and Wiltord a shame for the National Squad. Only Malouda was playing up to his standards, and that after an operation. Raymond Domenech ruined it all for the French, what a bad coaching strategy. Leaving Pires, Giuly and Marlet at home... No Coupet, Chimbonda or Saha, Trezeguet only playing for 5 minutes... The French papers will be full with enraged headlines tomorrow morning. :mrgreen:
