Pressman 6- Could have doen better with the goal but did make some key saves and put up with lots of crap back passes.

Canero 6- Nothing special but not particuarly bad, I wish he would go forward more.

Heath 5- Too many extremely stupid fouls giving away free kicks when he had no chance of getting the ball, looked very shakey.

Dabizas 2- A masterclass in how not to defend. This was appallingly bad. Patience and timing are two key attributes for a defender he lacks both and got caught because of it loads today. He was guilty of trying to nick a ball thathe couldn't get that led to the corner from which they socred.

Stewart 8- Very good performance and he is in good form at the moment. I definately prefer him coming from full back as it means he can over lap rather than having tobeat a player himself.

Gillespie 7- Sytarted off fantasticly but then let shis shoudlers drop after a few failed dribbles and some morons in the crowd getting on his back. CL could get alot out of it if he is given a chance by the fans.

Gujohnsson- 4 Can't pass the ball.

Nalis 3- His worst performance in ages, I will let huim have a bad game or two because he has played extremely consistently the rest of the season. OPerhaps a bit too frantic for him.

Tiatto 6- Nothing came off for him today bu the gave his all and set a great example to the rest of the players.

Scowcroft 5- Was very good in the air and held the ball up but i don't feel his is a goal threat at all. Emile Heskey with out the pace.

Connolly 7- Very unlucky notto score today and fed off of scraps all game. Looks happier now Adams has gone.

Gemmill 5- Made no impression and poor delivery from set pieces

Morris 6- couple of nice touches and crosses but ran out of energy, will be interesting when he is match fit,

Dublin 6- not on for long enough to make any real comment.

Gillespie showed promise at the start of the game, but his bottle seems to go towards the end of each game! Dabizas was by far the most appauling on the park, Keown is nearning match fitness now so I can't see Nikos playing too many more games!

To be honest I was too drunk to remember the game, but i'll have a stab at the ratings.

Pressman 5 - Simon says move willy puller.

Canero 7 - Solid performance, went about his business like Gary Oldman in Leon.

Heath 4 - Considering Sunderland have a shit strike force, Heath made them look good. If I had gone to watch Hinckley United instead and Heath was in their team i'd be disgusted and that's saying something.

Dabizas 2 - He had one mother of a game, he was awful again. I can't work the man out, he constantly fouls the opposition and is generally a nuisance. He is the equivalent of a chocolate teapot - useless.

Stewart 8 - Man of the match, he looked like Axel Foley on LSD. I can't believe the improvement in his displays now. Looks like a footballer and he's young wow, we have a player that's worth something.

Gillespie 7 - Started off well apparently, wouldn't know as I was still in the pub. Looking alot better and I reckon he might well earn himself a new contract. Dazzling and moist.

Gudjonsson 5 - Words fail me to be honest, I can't quite remember why i've given him a 5 but I remember he was having a nightmare out on the battlefield. Man and boy Joey, man and boy.

Nalis 5 - One of his worst games I thought, still a damn site better than that gypsy who we have on the bench with the Sonny Pike hair. He'll be back, sha'moan.

Tiatto ? - Can't remember Tiatto, did he have a shocker? I can't imagine it was as bad as my balti supreme that was churned out at the kiosk.

Connolly 6 - Connolly i'll pay you back your stake you've got with William Hill for the most glaring misses you can do in a season, stop it, it's not clever. I thought Micky said you were lethal? You couldn't polish a turd, his all round game play is excellent but why can't he finish?

Scowcroft 6 - Better than monday night, but I expected his transformation to be a little better since moving back upfront. It's just showing the fans that he's not all what he's cracked up to be. Here's a quid get that mole lobbed off.

Morris 7 - Looks handy, I think our wingers are our best players at the minute. He does look a bit too much like Graham Fenton though, which is worrying.

Gemmill 3 - Oh please! Do you want a new contract? Words fail me.

Pressman 5 - Didn't look comfortable, almost another blunder. Needs replacing!

Canero 7 - Linked well with Gillespie and looked good. 1 silly mistake nearly costly.

Heath 6 - Won alot in the air but clumsy on the ground, still improving though.

Dabizas 4 - Clumsy, error prone and dirty. Is not good enough, need Keown back.

Stewart 8 -Good game, got forward and defended well. Full of confidence

Gillespie 7 - Looking promising though drifts in and out of the game. Bit lightweight and tired too easily.

Nalis 6 - Not his best game, too many stray passes and fell over the ball at the vital moment.

Gudjonsson 5 - Fairly anonymous at times, didn't seem to get ino the game at all.

Tiatto 7 - Looked busy and worked well with Stewart, bad challenge for the booking

Scowy 7 - Didn't win everything in the air like usual though brought the ball down well and showed good control and unlucky with volley.

Connolly 7 - Again looked lively and our best threat, Needs to score though.

Subs:

Morris 6 - Didn't do alot but looked like the potential is there. Needs to get fitter.

Gemmill 5 - Tried hard but doesn't look good enough, or likely to create much

Dublin 3 - Made little impact and didn't win much in the air.
