Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 June 2006 Posted 30 June 2006 3. Hmm. I guess there's not a hell of a lot you can do with the fielders in that situation. Space them out evenly and bowl as tightly as possible.
IDEA OR IKEA Posted 30 June 2006 Posted 30 June 2006 Hmm. I guess there's not a hell of a lot you can do with the fielders in that situation. Space them out evenly and bowl as tightly as possible. Condense the field no way - place two at mid off, bowl medium pace let them slice it to a fielder in the slips who catches it to release shouts of joy
Daggers Posted 30 June 2006 Posted 30 June 2006 Hes right, dont talk about the slips when we need a third man at middle off maybe even at long leg
IDEA OR IKEA Posted 30 June 2006 Posted 30 June 2006 Exactly someone at long leg could have shouted at the guy at deep extra cover where the ball was going. I would still have put some men about point and deep backwood, he favours his left on the last ball.
Loake Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 I was gutted when they got the 6(I'm sure it was a four) but it was great entertainment
Guest Posted 2 July 2006 Posted 2 July 2006 Perhaps if we'd bowled tighter at the death when the game was ours to be won. They made up for it at Derby though! Fantastic game, shame I could only listen to it on the radio.
Loake Posted 2 July 2006 Posted 2 July 2006 typical that the best game for Leicester so far was away, lets hope they perform nest week!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 July 2006 Posted 4 July 2006 Another excellent win for the 'Thants last night. Ganguly 73, 2 wickets for Monty. See you at finals day.
