Maybes Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 SIGN THIS GUY Seen him during the WC and he was very impressive. Out of contract young and left sided i think!! He would be ideal.Promising player at the age of 24.
Phube Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 Has anyone seen him play?? Does sound good, but then so did Hamill!!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 I think we should sign him, if only to see the headline "Leicester sign World Cup star" on Teletext.
Maybes Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 I think we should sign him, if only to see the headline "Leicester sign World Cup star" on Teletext. haha agreed
Head Honcho Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 To quote Hiddink "This guy should play in a proper league, Belgium or Holland." I'm sorry but 80% of teams in both those leagues couldn't hack it in the Championship and the top 4 or 5 teams would struggle week in week out in the Premiership. Not saying he wouldn't be a good signing but the last thing we need is another player who lacks confidence in his ability.
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 Has anyone seen him play?? Does sound good, but then so did Hamill!!! Yes saw him live @ county ground last season he wasn't very good. I dont think he was that good in the world cip either . Didn't he get bought into the squad after Vidmars injury as well?
loza15 Posted 3 July 2006 Author Posted 3 July 2006 I seen him play, he was left sided i think and which Australien would you rather have....Tiatto or Wilkshire??? No brainer! Why did we give him a new contract
bithra Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 I seen him play, he was left sided i think and which Australien would you rather have....Tiatto or Wilkshire??? No brainer! Why did we give him a new contract He's right sided and can also play in the middle. If he struggled to get in the Bristol City first team last season, why would he walk into our team? http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/defaul...em&id=10210
dandannieldanok Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 We should only get him if we have sufficient wage budget to allow us to get other players as well as Wilkshire.

If he struggled to get in the Bristol City first team last season, why would he walk into our team? http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/defaul...em&id=10210 Showed he wasn’t totally out of his depth with an assured display in the centre of midfield against Italy. Quote from football Australia!
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 4 July 2006 Posted 4 July 2006 I think we should sign him, if only to see the headline "Leicester sign World Cup star" on Teletext. Teletext - is that still around?!
bald reynard Posted 4 July 2006 Posted 4 July 2006 No way - he won't come to us - or any Championship club. Pity !
La Bamba Posted 6 July 2006 Posted 6 July 2006 I doubt he'd sign for a few reasons, mainly that Foxes most promising youngster (Weso) plays the same position as him (Centre Mid), and the fact that they're compatriots makes it even more unlikely. Also I think as Hiddink stated he might be looking to try somewhere in Europe as his passing game isn't all that suited to the English style.
