Knighton Matt Posted 4 July 2006 Posted 4 July 2006 ACA bud. Clear & Lane? They're a prety small firm aren't they? Reckon it's best to train with smaller firms, more experience with dealing with clients & also they don't work you like a dog like the bigger boys do so you get more time to study. Are recruitment consultants your new best friend mate?

andyh1884 Posted 4 July 2006 Posted 4 July 2006 Are recruitment consultants your new best friend mate? Certainly are, about 3 calls a day. Just about every entry on my recent calls list says 'Unknown', quite sad really - they're the only people who ring me. Suppose that's the downside of being a dull accountant! You'll have all this soon if they're not pestering you already!

Exactly why i chose them-i get day release . I also got an offer from MacIntyre Hudson but turned them down. Clear & Lane are a fairly small firm. Only the one office in the UK, which is in Leicester, with 40 members of staff.
MC Prussian Posted 4 July 2006 Posted 4 July 2006 Don't have a job yet - looking for something in Film or Television at the moment, would like to do something in directing, but I'm too young, too inexperienced and will try to make a start in producing. Will either work in or around Zurich or in Munich, Germany. Decisions are going to be made within the next few weeks...
