Nationwider Posted 28 July 2006 Posted 28 July 2006 Having spoken to someone last night for rather longer than intended, I now realise that policemen are the most boring and also the most spiteful, bitter people in the world. Correct? Yes. I should imagine its a job that could make you very cynical if you let it. I know that it can be one of the most insular professions for obvious reasons. I know two coppers and they're ok. The guy that pulled me over for basically just driving an old car last year was a **** though.
davieG Posted 28 July 2006 Posted 28 July 2006 All professions have their share of spiteful bitter people, I'd suggest that the more bitter, spiteful people you meet whilst carryout your profession the more likely you're going to have them in abundance in your profession.

davieG Posted 28 July 2006 Posted 28 July 2006 no offence was meant to anyone on here was it I hope not, my profession doesn't have any spiteful, bitter people; bored, pissed off, over worked, underpaid ones, well maybe a wee bit bitter.

That’s a very philosophical insight into the professional world. I feel like I’ve learnt something today from that post, it made so much sense.
