Deathside Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 OK - What should I have to drink? Considerations - I have no mixers The wine is Mrs Deathside's
billabob Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 Whisky every time for me. Whiskey, although whiskey mac if you can find the stones ginger wine
Deathside Posted 4 August 2006 Author Posted 4 August 2006 An inconclusive set of results so far... I also found some Becherovka (Czech spirit - 38% Vol) in the fridge - So I've had a couple of shots of that for starters
Daggers Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 If you want to send a taxi over to Brum, I've got some wine and a case of lager I could give you. I hate to think of it sitting here undrunk and you sitting there all sober...

Deathside Posted 4 August 2006 Author Posted 4 August 2006 I voted for the gin - only 'cos of the cool name. Just had a wee sip of the gin - but TBH neat gin is not the most pleasent taste - Who ate all the tonic??? - Mrs DS???
Monk Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 Just had a wee sip of the gin - but TBH neat gin is not the most pleasent taste - Who ate all the tonic??? - Mrs DS??? I say get your revenge and polish the wine. Then you can explain that if it wasnt for tonic 'eaters' you wouldnt have required the ver de vin francais
Daggers Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 Why is it undrunk? - That suggests that you are also undrunk??? I have a pile of booze next to me to get me through the next few hours of hectic Footy Manager. I bulk buy.
Bert Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 I say get your revenge and polish the wine. Then you can explain that if it wasnt for tonic 'eaters' you wouldnt have required the ver de vin francais Perfect! Also Mr D, put Mrs D on the sofa for that tonight.

Then you can explain that if it wasnt for tonic 'eaters' you wouldnt have required the ver de vin francais Good point, although the wine is not too apealing right now as I think of it as a slow (IE All evening) drink - plus now I've taken a couple of slugs of Becherovka I've got the taste for the spirit hit

Deathside Posted 4 August 2006 Author Posted 4 August 2006 Perfect! Also Mr D, put Mrs D on the sofa for that tonight. Mrs DS is working nightshift
Deathside Posted 4 August 2006 Author Posted 4 August 2006 Now that I've scoffed a few shots I've been hit by the munchies - but there's fúck all food in the house and I've had to resort to tomato ketchup sandwiches Not being a fan of neat vodka (but most definately a fan of vodka) I've now got the bottle of Absolut Mandrin at hand - even though I have this nagging feeling that Absolut Mandrin is vodka for girls

I have a stack of enchiladas rojas here that I cooked earlier for the wife. Tch ~ no mixers, no grub. Just what kind of Friday night were you planning DS?

Monk Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 I have to say that I have never been in a situation where I'm binge drinking Absolut Mandarin AND eating ketchup sandwiches. Will Mrs D be impressed? I think not. Make her a Singapore Slinger from what you have left. Maybe that will do the trick.

What is a Singapore Sling? - Apart from bloody expensive if you drink one at Raffles Hotel

But then if mrs D has never had one she'd never know that you sneaked it out of Ketchup + Absolut Mandarin + Bombay Sapphire. Very tropical

Deathside Posted 4 August 2006 Author Posted 4 August 2006 Just in case anyone is struggling to visualise the situation (And because I've got a new camera)...
