Bert Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 And probably very badly written but.... A deaf bloke goes into a shop and asks fora toothbrush but as he cant spk he has to mime, so he mimes and the shopkeeper realises he wants a toothbrush, so he goes off and get his toothbrush, later on a blind man comes in asking for sunglasses, how does he ask?
Libertine Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 He asks him by saying 'Can I have some sunglasses?'.
billabob Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 He asks him by saying 'Can I have some sunglasses?'. Which raises the question, why does he even need sunglasses for???? Whats wrong with a alice band across the face or normal glasses!

billabob Posted 4 August 2006 Posted 4 August 2006 Re Pinpong: Well it's common knowledge that bllind people wear sunglasses, for a number of different reasons. Fair enough! although i prefer the daredevil mask myself
Collymore Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 I'm sorry, but i find it funny imagining the deaf guy doing 'the toothbrush' impression
Daggers Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Do they have shops that sell sunglasses AND toothbrushes? I suppose you can get them at Boots but that would only be if they had a dispensing optician on site and the blind person had a prescription. Which is all hardly likely is it?
Knighton Matt Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 p.s. I have been called both lame and easy before. But not in the same night. Interesting factoid.

Why would he need the optician to buy sunglasses? Do blind people need a prescription to buy sunglasses nowadays?
