On the topic of reading, I was just wondering how many of us read books? I buy tons but then never seem to have the time to sit down to enjoy reading them.

I keep telling myself that I'd love to read more but then I don't do anything about it.

Sadly it seems reading is almost a thing of the past for my generation

No.

I don't usually buy books, so I don't read them.

I buy a book once in a while if I know I want to read it, and then I do read it.

I used to take books out of the library every 2 or 3 weeks, but stopped because I couldn't be bothered to keep searching for new books to read every 2 or 3 weeks...

I've always got 3 or 4 books on the go at a time, I start one see another I like and start that and so on.

I always manage to finish them but on occasions they get the better of me I've been reading this book for about 2 years now and am still only halfway through

I've read it and also know one of the author's(Dave Jones)

A film based on the book is currently in pre-production for release next year.

It's a decent book even though much of it is a work of fiction!

I read that last year, it's fantastic.

I wish I could read more but after 8 hours in front of a computer screen my eyes hurt too much to consider reading. Currently working ever so slowly through The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami.

With all the libraries closing down, and he invention called the internet it's not surprising people are reading less.

WHich is a shame, it will have long term effects on future generations in term of language, grammer etc!!
