Thracian Posted 11 September 2006 Share Posted 11 September 2006 There is little to draw anyone but the diehards to this match. Both City and Hull are much nearer being relegation candidates than Championship chasers and we're still scoring low marks for artistic merit because too many key players can't/won't/don't pass the ball properly. It is the prime example of a time when RK needs to talk the game up and announce some positive intent. He should say that Gradel's going onto the bench and that we'll be playing all three of our main strikersand he should say how much he wants and needs the crowd to come along and support this adventure. He should talk about Sheehan's move and of his hopes (if they exist) that the lad will get himself match sharp and come back ready to assist our revolution. All this verbal PR can inspire a sense of "happening" which just doesn't exist at the moment and will surely be reflected in the crowd figures. These things matter. It's not just the team Kelly has to rouse and inspire but the passions of the crowd.

I agree Thracian, the PR of the club is very poor, the club need to focus, look, aspire and to be seen as achieving a purpose or aim ie promotion\play off spot. This would give hope to fans and at alittle interest within supporters!!
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2006 Share Posted 11 September 2006 Time to bring down ticket prices. Getting under 20,000 on a regular basis is helping no one.

Sigma Posted 11 September 2006 Share Posted 11 September 2006 They've scrapped student tickets this year as well. Last year it was only £10 for a student (university and such). Not this year.
