Lester LXXIV Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 I'm going for a 2-0 win to the Foxes, (Paddy K & Matty F). They'll have the bit between their teeth after throwing a point away on saturday!!
Lester LXXIV Posted 12 September 2006 Author Posted 12 September 2006 Williams Is still out... http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~895585,00.html And Paddy says...Captains Column
SydneyFC Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 2-0. Matty F to bag a brace with an assist from Weso and Hume to hit crossbar.
NFFC Chris Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 A 2-0 win for your lot, with you scoring two goals in the second half after being frustrated in the first.
The People's Hero Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 Hull are cr ap. We are cr ap. It will come down to who makes the most/worst mistakes at the back.

I like it While the latter part of your post may be quite true, I can see our defence doing fine today and us scoring a few goals as well, probably 3 as I posted on the prediction thread. If our defence plays how it has done lately, we'll gather 3 points today for sure

They'll have the bit between their teeth after throwing a point away on saturday!! I was thinking the exact same apart from Paddy Mac instead of Paddy K. I predict (and truly hope for the life of the kid) that Matty gets one and probs someone you wouldnt expect e.g. Paddy McCarthy or Nils or someone like that.
steve_wilson101 Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 1-0 win, hopefully with Fryatt getting off the mark. Goals are a problem right now but we should be good enough to scrape three points
The Don Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 We have the predictions for the game in the predictions bit over there. Sorry but I don't wanna read it twice. Prob a bit of overreaction there 1-0 Leicester Johnson as per other thread
lcfc_jme Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 Not really a lot to say about the match atm though, just speculating on the result, performance and team, as the team news isn't in and we aren't under way.. How does everybody think we'll play??
Fox in a Box Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 This is a 6 pointer, if we win were back in the pack (goal difference seperates about 4/5 places... If we lose then we get sucked in .... 1-0 would suit us, anything better is a bonus, its early doors until 12 games have gone no one can see the shape of the season. we could do with a morale lifting 5-0er!!! You know last year that vicory that Connelly score a hat trick ....something like that.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 Can't see either side scoring twice. We just have to cut out the stupid errors from the West Brom game and make sure we give a strikers a clear chance or two. Certainly don't see it being a walk in the park. I'm pleasantly surprised by our last few home results but I'll believe Fortress Walkers when I see it.

Hull have 1 point from 6 games, although their performances in general haven't been particularly bad. Same result as us against West Brom at the Hawthorns, and results in the others have been quite close. Their only point came in a 0-0 draw with a dreadful Ipswich side, so I think we should win
syston_fox Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 I seriously think we will blow it. Im going to say that we'll dominate 90% of the play and it will finish 1-1 like the Crewe and Millwall home games last season!
Knighton Matt Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 I can't wait for this baby been far too long since we had a home game. It's the only thing getting me through the prospect of an afternoon's work. COME ON YOU BLUE BOYS!!!!
Swedging Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 One-nil. Goal in the first minute and a nervous 90 minutes defending.

Phube Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 I'm just worried that Hull haven't won a game yet... We always lose to people like that... 3-1 to us!!!! Yay!!
lcfc_jme Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 I'm just worried that Hull haven't won a game yet... We always lose to people like that... 3-1 to us!!!! Yay!! I was worried about the same thing against Sunderland. We're fine on that front now. Hull have so far played Cov, Derby, West Brom and Brum. They are yet to beat a midlands side, and have recorded 4 losses from 4 games, so if that's a sign of things to come, then we're going to win today :D

Lester LXXIV Posted 12 September 2006 Author Posted 12 September 2006 Any one have a flutter on this game??? I never allow myself to bet on our games, always seem to lose when I do!
lookwhaticando Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 I never allow myself to bet on our games, always seem to lose when I do! Do us all a favour and bet on Hull instead.
Lester LXXIV Posted 12 September 2006 Author Posted 12 September 2006 Do us all a favour and bet on Hull instead. Your joking, they don't stand a chance tonight!!! Now look what you've done, i've comitted myself to making a forecast on the outcome, now we've 'ad it mate!!
Benji Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 I was just reading the Mercury and didn't realise how awful Hull were! The only team with 1 point, will be quite amusing if we don't win this one. I'm hoping we win convincingly, this is the perfect game for fryatt and hume to bag a goal and get some confidence.
