lcfc_jme Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 An ideal yes man. Ever considered a prominent position in the Foxes Trust? Reading how you and a few others post about the Foxes Trust on here, I'm pretty offended by that suggestion. I am nobody's "yes-man" so to speak, and the reasons I tend not to disagree with people on here are the ones I specified in my previous post. I was just aiming to be an easy-going, laid-back and decent member of the Foxestalk forum, but seeing as that makes me a "yes-man", I may have to start ruffling some feathers and actually making people mad at me, being a bit of an ar*e-hole. Fair play. It shouldn't be a thin line though between putting your own views across in opposition to someone who might be "respected" as a poster and coming across as being "out of line" as you say. But don't listen to Manwell, he doesn't know what he's on about. It shouldn't, but on here, it is. Which is exactly the reason my posts mainly seem to end up in General Chat nowadays as opposed to the Leicester City Forum where most of my posts were previously sent to.
lcfc_jme Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 I'm calm dude, it's just I didn't realise I was coming across as somebody who lets people tell him what to believe, cos in actual fact I'm really not like that. Maybe I should think carefully before I post in future...

We all joined at some point and nobody arrives with respect, it's earnt. I don't know whether or not I am "respected" or not I just put my points across, differnt people will agree with me on differnt issues. Put your points across and don't worry about who, or how many people get on your back. You seem to have let DavieG's comments on your writeing affect you amd you shouldn't, as long as you keep to the rules, say what you want. I've been on here a year and I have had a barny with just about every one on here. It's what a forum is all about. Debate.

Don't think about what you post just post it, it's your opinion and if people take shots at it defend it. Besides TPH is winding you up .
The People's Hero Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 This apparent level of 'respect' doesn't exist. It's all about individual perception. You're fine JME - I'm just poking fun. Don't ever be intimidated in to holding back.

I've had a minor misunderstanding with davieG once or twice in my time on here, but that hasn't really bothered me too much, as I am still here and posting today. It just really annoys me that certain people on here can post whatever ridiculous statements they want to, and if I post one thing that differs, I'm causing controversy, even though I'm not being offensive and simply sharing my opinions with other City fans. Oh well, I'm certainly not one for self-pitying, so back to the topic at hand (who is GTfox if people don't mind me asking ) (p.s. I won't agree with you, because I'm not impressionable. But from now on, I will only consider what I want to post before I post it because that way I'm not influenced by anybody and not being easy )

Just if I come across a little more different on the LCFC forum in particular, remember you asked for it

But seriously.. stick up for yourself mate!

BartonFox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Personally I'd welcome MMcG back everyday of the week and twice on Sunday if the only other option was Rob "I haven't got a Scooby-Doo" Kelly". At least Brighton used to give it a go. Rob Kelly is so incompetent it is no longer funny, he will soon be up there with Dave Bassett, Peter Taylor and David Pleat. I hope we sack him soon.

Oh no Barton....just no. Brighton gave it a go I'll give them their dues....all the way to League One. As far as I can see the club is in Netural gear, going no where fast and slowly decaying. Employing Mark McGee is like shifting into reverse. I wouldn't trust him here any way, beleive me when I say he thinks we owe him something.
lcfc_jme Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 It was a mistake appointing RK as permanent manager in the first place anyway. At first I thought it was a good idea (as I'm sure many other City fans did). But looking back on it, I can now see it was a mistake. He has no managerial experience and his preferred role is coaching. His full committment has never been there either, as he said that he was just filling in until the board appointed a proper manager, and that he didn't want to take the reigns full-time (although he'd have been "honoured" if he was offered the job). I've posted before that we should give RK until about 15 games in charge before we re-assess his position as manager, and if he isn't doing good enough by 15 games (which it doesn't look like he will be) then he should be relieved of his duties. Problem is, we'd struggle to attract an experienced manager that'd be willing and able to dig us out of the mess to our club because of our dreadful situation

Can't beat a nice Paul Smith get up on a Saturday, if we are going to get beat, then we'll do it while I am looking the bollocks.

MMcG may be many things but his teams try to play the game, not shrivel up and whimper like the shams of a mockery Kelly sends out.

I just couldn't hack it he was appointed. I'd rather see Dave Penny here to be honest, theres a bloke who knows no fear. Either or im sick and tired of this shit.... on the bright side this thread has inspired me to pull on my Paul Smith T-shirt for tomorrow.

Likewise, I am resigned to it, but I at least want us to go down swinging. on the bright side this thread has inspired me to pull on my Paul Smith T-shirt for tomorrow. And that makes me happy. None of this Stone Island or Henri Lloyd chav bollox, appearance is important and in the modern climate PS is the 'King of the Dancehall'. May I also recommend John Varvatos and Juicy Couture The ladies love it, oh yes
The People's Hero Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 John Varvatos, Ted Baker, Paul Smith and Peter Werth. If only I could afford to buy a bit more of it...
