lcfc_jme Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Has Barber mentioned the weather yet? *Cloud cover just coming over*
lookwhaticando Posted 23 September 2006 Author Posted 23 September 2006 He's currently talking about the football, so he's obviously building up to the weather. And there it goes... the clouds are coming to cool things down a bit.
lookwhaticando Posted 23 September 2006 Author Posted 23 September 2006 Fryatt goes close, wins a corner.
cisono Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Just got back from the pub, watched the Celtic Huns match... I'm a happy man :D Something about being packed in a small pub with 300 singing Celtic fans... I'm buzzing Visions of bum slapping and worse going through my mind...
lookwhaticando Posted 23 September 2006 Author Posted 23 September 2006 Visions of bum slapping and worse going through my mind... What kinda pubs do you go to?
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Visions of bum slapping and worse going through my mind... Haha, there was plenty of that as well as manly hugging during the separate goal celebrations
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Leeds up 1-0 against Birmingham, Healy on 6 mins
lcfc_jme Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Close stuff, Paddy K would have been more effective than Paddy Mac though
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Close stuff, Paddy K would have been more effective than Paddy Mac though Certainly sounds like we're doing the work out there
lcfc_jme Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 We are doing the work, as we always do in the first 10-15 minutes of a game. Depends on whether we can sustain the pressure though
Stevosevic Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Certainly sounds like we're doing the work out there you have to score when you are on top though, as we know too well.
cisono Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Close stuff, Paddy K would have been more effective than Paddy Mac though Sounds like it
Suffolk_fox Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 I'm Back! Anyone miss me? (Apart from LWICD).... I wasn't on yesterday as I met a friend after lunch for a few erm sherberts... We seem to be playing ok - I know, it's only Colchester....
City_4_Life Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 you have to score when you are on top though, as we know too well. Hull all over again, I hope not.
Lester LXXIV Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Leeds brum 1-1 but a pen just been given!

lcfc_jme Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Leeds brum 1-1 but a pen just been given! Leeds 2 - 1 Brum (Healy, Pen)
Flemmish Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Leeds brum 1-1 but a pen just been given! ....and it was an own goal by the keeper, I hope its a bit of a howler!
lcfc_jme Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Does sound like a repeat of the Hull game, with 3 corners already.. I hope it's not going to go down that same route Paddy Mac is no Kisnorbo in the air
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 ....and it was an own goal by the keeper, I hope its a bit of a howler! Haha, getting a bit carried away with a new manager, scoring goals for the opposition as well!
cisono Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Paddy Mac is no Kisnorbo in the air Paddy Mac ought to be much better in the air...
Stevosevic Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 The amount of goals we score is very concerning. Against a slightly better team we will create less chances and therefore need to be more clinical infront of goal, thats the difference in this league as most games are usually quite even.
