Flemmish Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 I would say that the only positive to come out of the game is the clean sheet kept by Conrad Logan on his League debut, which is pleasing.
shen Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 I would say that the only positive to come out of the game is the clean sheet kept by Conrad Logan on his League debut, which is pleasing. Did he have any save to make at all? But yes, well done to him...
lcfc_jme Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 The Leicester City Women's side have won their first 3 games by 5-0, 11-0 and 13-0. Looks like everyone at the club is scoring...except the first team. Maybe the first team should watch videos of how the Youth side and the Women's side play so they remember how to do it themselves
Finnegan Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Either that or we get a real good striker. Very. Soon. No problem, mate. We've got Carl Asaba!
MC Prussian Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 No problem, mate. We've got Carl Asaba!
dhermon Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Bah... this is crap. After your daylight savings time ends and ours starts these games will start at 2am over here instead of midnight. I hope this isn't the standard of play I have to trade sleep for in future! welcome to my world mate! i USED to stay in on a saturday night after cricket just to listen to city i gave that up last season its not as painfull to read the match reports as it is to hear it live (drunk** or sober) *denotes stopped reading or listening to city in a sober state a LONG time ago!
Phube Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Just got back!!! Poor game, made worse by an incompetant referee and Lino's!!! Only positive: Logan IS the No1 keeper at this club, McAuley is pretty decent too!
dandannieldanok Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Every other team in the football league has scored at least 1 more goal then city! FACT!
Guest Gist Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Was so poor today it felt like we lost. The defence played well again it just the midfield is a joke and unless they start creating good chances for the strikers it is going to be a long season.
shen Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Just read Kelly's post match comments... Is it just me or are others also tired of his "We'll try to take the positives out of the game"-comment? Why can't he just be pissed at the team for once?? He says we didn't get going at all and were never likely to open them up. That would be reason enough for anyone to give them a right tongue-lashing...
Leicester Lass Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Anyone actually see the post-match conference? He was laughing and joking most of the way through it
Wils Posted 23 September 2006 Posted 23 September 2006 Fcking crap. And Ive only just got home,Colchester at home FFS!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't think RK has the respect of the team. On the back of that result, he should have had them locked in the dressing room, and thrown a few tea cups. I have worked for bosses like him, and lots of workers just took the pi$$ - he had little respect and the company just plodded along.
