The People's Hero Posted 26 September 2006 Posted 26 September 2006 Fezzler is errr.... ummm... nah, you're right, he's an idiot
gatesheadfox Posted 26 September 2006 Posted 26 September 2006 I understood it was went to Hereford and was a ST holder, well that's how I got mine. seems a bit of an odd criteria, i know people who attend ALL home and away league games (not entirely sure about cup games) that travel in from preston, london etc and may have missed out on a nice little free ticket. i would class that as loyal, if my mother who attends 1 or 2 away games a season had turned up to that one game she would have qualified but myself who attends around 20 would miss out....i agree schools should be given allocated amounts of free or cheaper tickets, 1. to fill up the often half empty family stand and 2. because getting kids interested in our club is important. the topic of universities (as mentioned earlier) is a good point, while i lived in edinburgh the students were offered something like £10 a ticket for hibs games and plenty people i know went just for a couple of days out. plus a few people i know who studied in leicester attended a few games last season (while being newcastle fans) but only a few as the tickets werent overly cheap, one even considered a season ticket at one point out of love for football
Daggers Posted 26 September 2006 Author Posted 26 September 2006 seems a bit of an odd criteria... As I say, that's just my guesstimate. Get in touch with the club and let them know your feelings and ask the questions Oh, and let us know what they say
Guest Posted 26 September 2006 Posted 26 September 2006 The Fans Consultative Committee were given tickets, which is where the Trust got theirs from. I gave a lot of mine to footie virgins, and although most have said they would go again, they would only do so if it was free, and they thought I was mad to pay to watch it.
harpendenfox Posted 26 September 2006 Posted 26 September 2006 Didn't go on Saturday. But can anyone tell me in all honesty if we were worse than in the Burnley game in August? I didn't think we could get much worse than that!
