Matt Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 The commentator have said apparently Danny Tiatto has got a broken jaw.... When are things gonna change in favour for Leicester?!?!?

Anish Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 The commentator have said apparently Danny Tiatto has got a broken jaw.... When are things gonna change in favour for Leicester?!?!? 47498 I was wondering why Tiatto was subbed off - he was immense tonight and imo was by far our best player. He is way too good for our team.
Mark Posted 17 December 2004 Posted 17 December 2004 He's not too good at all. Saying things like that is ridiculous as no one else wanted him and he aint exactly set the Championship alight. He was alright today, but he's way too injury and suspension prone <_<

He was alright today, but he's way too injury and suspension prone <_< 47517 He is only one of 2 players in our squad that is capable of looking composed and assured on the ball (the other being Nalis) - he doesn't give the ball away cheaply and always offers support going forwards and defensively. He is an excellent captain and leads by example. Your comment about him not setting the Championship alight - ffs he wasn't bought to 'set the Championship alight' - he isn't one of these foreign dazzlers who has a bag full of tricks. In the majority of games he's played for us he has been our best player (or one of our best players) and today was no exception. Besides, who in our squad HAS set the Championship alight?? Nobody!

Nobody! 47523 I know that, but he is far from too good for us. If anything, he's the sort of player that deserves to play for us, who wears his heart on his sleave. Personally, i think he's better than the average Championship player, but not one of the best. Nevertheless, it makes him one of our best players, because the majority are god damn shocking.
FOREST4EVA Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 Tiatto has got a broken jaw and will be out for some time
Cobbo Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 Tiatto has got a broken jaw and will be out for some time 47574 I hope this is just a rumour :(
Cobbo Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 Afraid not Levein also revealed that Danny Tiatto could now face a lengthy spell on the sidelines. He added: "Danny has broken his jaw by the looks of things which is a real blow for us. We were hoping to get through this match tonight without any serious injuries. Will be a huge miss.
FOREST4EVA Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 Read This Leicester boss Craig Levein is likely to be without Danny Tiatto for some time, as the Australian midfielder is believed to have broken his jaw on Friday. The former Manchester City wide-man was left clutching his face in the dying stages of The Foxes' 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest, following an innocuous challenge, and Levein fears the worst. "Danny has broken his jaw by the looks of things which is a real blow for us," Levein told the club's website. "We were hoping to get through this match without any serious injuries. "He is a tigerish type player and he puts himself into situations where he will get hurt. He didn't want to come off - that's the type of guy he is. "It is an injury that we could have certainly done without." Link: - http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.a...el=Championship
Bedford Fox Posted 18 December 2004 Posted 18 December 2004 It says on the OS Danny Tiatto could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines after the Australian midfielder was sent for an x-ray on a suspected broken jaw. Tiatto was left clutching the side of his face after being involved in an innocuous incident during the closing stages of the 1-1 draw with Forest on Friday night. And speaking after the game, City boss Craig Levein revealed the bad news. He said: "Danny has broken his jaw by the looks of things which is a real blow for us. We were hoping to get through this match tonight without any serious injuries. "He is a tigerish type player and he puts himself into situations where he will get hurt. He didn't want to come off - that's the type of guy he is. "It is an injury that we could have certainly done without."
Scow Posted 19 December 2004 Posted 19 December 2004 Fantastic, that means playing Gemmill left side of midfield again.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 19 December 2004 Posted 19 December 2004 surely we'd be better playing stearman or makin at left back, and putting stewart left mid
Anish Posted 19 December 2004 Posted 19 December 2004 Yes we would be better off playing Stewart left-midfield, but Levein seems to like Scot Gemmill for some reason.

Makin's bad enough at right back, never mind left back. But then again, we don't want Gemmill in the team, so I suppose we would have to accept it. :w00t:
