Nationwider Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 I've been watching some old Only Fools And Horses recently. I'd forgotten what a brilliant programme it was! My favourite episodes? The one with the chandelier! Over to you for top Brit-com related chat.... You know it makes sense!
Daggers Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 To Hull and Back ~ if nothing but for the beautiful title.

Nationwider Posted 9 November 2006 Author Posted 9 November 2006 not as good as blackadder Ooh. Can of worms. Good poll, though....?
Katy Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 That one where Del falls through the bar. My ribs actually hurt the first time I saw that!
The Man Who Would Be King Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Ooh. Can of worms. Good poll, though....? yeh it would, but I can't do poll's think Foools and horses would win because its more popular, even if blackadder is funnier

Tommeh Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 All the repeats are on uktv gold at the moment. all well worth watching. tonights episode was where Rodneys painting won them a holiday to majorca, but he won in the under 15 category
Stuliasz Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Absolutely awesome programme. The best British TV sitcom ever.
lookwhaticando Posted 9 November 2006 Posted 9 November 2006 Planning on splashing some serious cash on the box set once it's available over here (well, in the States more accurately). I prefer the later series with Uncle Albert in them. That's not to say the ones with Granddad in them weren't great, because they so clearly were. The Chandelier springs to mind every single time I think about this amazing show.
Smudge Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 That one where Del falls through the bar. My ribs actually hurt the first time I saw that! Same here, the chandalier is also brilliant. My daughter often reminds me of the line Oh mon dieu, mon dieu, if you like a nice piece of fine porcelain I've got the very thing for you in the back of the van.
Thracian Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 Enduringly funny. Having bought and sold all sorts in recent years and having done many a stint on the markets at Bermondsey and Portobello Road - it's right up my street, along with Lovejoy and Steptoe...just brilliant entertainment and so easy to identify with.
Tommeh Posted 10 November 2006 Posted 10 November 2006 Tis is one of my favourites Mother Nature's Son (1992) Outside Grandad's allotment Trigger is about to put some chemical drums into Denzil's van. Denzil: That's Derek Trotter in there, not bloody Einstein! Trigger: Del knows what he's talking about. And I don't see what the Beatle's manager has got to do with it anyway.
