cisono Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 Dental floss is crap, especially if you have closely spaced teeth. I can't help being a freak, y'know. You are right but... according to my dentist, the closer your teeth are, the more you need to floss (as simply brushing won't get into the interdental spaces, if that's what they are called). He would like everyone to floss twice a day, just like he does (no wonder he has sensitive teeth and probably gums!)
Katy Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 Im a bit harsh with floss and end up with the disgusting taste of blood in my mouth
Daggers Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 Im a bit harsh with floss and end up with the disgusting taste of blood in my mouth Try using candy floss instead, that should cover up the blood taste
Finnegan Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 Mulled wine? Mull on this Jamie Oliver! If I want to go apple bobbing (as I often do), I go to my garage, fill my tin bath with gin, drop a couple of Granny Smiths in and go mental. But please oh please, will someone tell me how you drink a glass of mulled wine with a friggin' satsuma floating around in the glass? That's not mulled wine, that's just sheer lunacy. :D Class. I giggled.
Suffolk_fox Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 Im a bit harsh with floss and end up with the disgusting taste of blood in my mouth Mouthwash is much better. Does the same job as floss, gives you nice breath and doesn't make your gums bleed.... Now Cirque Celebrite - wtf?????

Milky Posted 22 November 2006 Posted 22 November 2006 the best mouth washes make your mouth hurt, a lot! the green listerine one tends to cause some damage to the back of my throat, which in turn creates a horrible pool of some something as the body gets on with it's repair job. not nice. it also does funny things to my tongue. i've moved onto the slighter weaker blue version, but the same sort of problems are persisting to a lesser extent.
