kerryh Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 I don't see a problem with a peck on the lips/cheeks when you're attached!
Thracian Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 i bet guru nanak would pick King/ Gradel etc. I've no idea about that but if he's seen the light he would have found someone exciting and had the faith to reflect those abilities in his team tactics.
The People's Hero Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 Yeah, but full blown oral sex in public is probably taking it a bit far. So ladies, PLEASE try to restrain yourselves on Satdeh.
Janx Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 I don't see a problem with a peck on the lips/cheeks when you're attached! hubba hubba! Pucker up bebe!
The People's Hero Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 hubba hubba! Pucker up bebe! I thought you'd never ask, you big hunk of love. C'mere!
cisono Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 Is it okay to kiss an 'attached'(married, girlfriend\boyfriend, person used for casual sex) person under the mistletoe. Assuming that the person is not a relative\partner etc. For example, on saturday I bring some mistletoe down to the swan and rushes and cobbo's with Kayteh, and I then go ahead and kiss Kayteh under the mistletoe. Would that be acceptable to Cobbo, or would Kayteh refuse to kiss because she's attached........is it against the xmas spirit not to kiss under the mistletoe, please discuss?????? (By the way I have no intention of kissing Kayteh under the mistletoe, unless you really didn't mind ) Good question! I'd like to try that one myself on someone next week As to kissing Kayteh under the mistletoe, I expect that Cobbo would punch you in the eye (as a minimum)
cisono Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 I thought you'd never ask, you big hunk of love. C'mere! The rumours are all true then?
cisono Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 I don't see a problem with a peck on the lips/cheeks when you're attached! Hmm well, surely it depends on the people involved?!?!? Someone did that to me yesterday (wrong person, wrong situation and wrong context) and I am still annoyed!!!
Thracian Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 Hmm well, surely it depends on the people involved?!?!? Someone did that to me yesterday (wrong person, wrong situation and wrong context) and I am still annoyed!!! Who? Where is he? Where does he live? Just say the word and I'll get VaFox to help me build him into the next bit of motorway substrata.

Just say the word and I'll get VaFox to help me build him into the next bit of motorway substrata. This has nothing to do with me. In relation to the question initially posed, it's dependent on just about everything - who, what, why, where, when, how, atmospheric conditions, blood alcohol conditions, friendship/relationship conditions, historical situation/context (if applicable) etc etc. Basically, by the time you've worked out if it's appropriate, the moment has passed and you've nothing to worry about! :D

That is what happens to me all the time. Purely for the sake of speculation... do you reckon that one might get away with snogging one's lecturer under the mistletoe?

Thanks for the offer, Thrac. What would I do without you? However, for the moment, I think I might just reserve the option of mentioning it to his wife
Webbo Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 I know this much though, he would have sacked RK by now, the guy hasn't learnt anything (SiKh = Learner) and his flock (city fans) are dwindling fast!!! i didn't mean to be flippant about your faith, i hope i haven't offended you.
Cobbo Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 Kiss Kayteh and I'll bite your face off. Nah, seriously.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 Siamese twins don't really do it for me.
Guest Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 In answer to the original question, it would depend on the people involved. Of course.

Purely for the sake of speculation... do you reckon that one might get away with snogging one's lecturer under the mistletoe? That'd be a trifle foolish. A quick peck on the cheek would be acceptable... but a snog is dangerously precarious to your position as a student, but mostly to their position as an educator. I'd advise against it. When you graduate, though, it's more than acceptable to go back for more and end up falling in love with into bed with said lecturer.

cisono Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 Ouch - if he knew that perhaps he'd prefer the quick-setting concrete. I bet! Perhaps I'll give him another chance to improve on his behaviour before resorting to such extreme methods
Thracian Posted 14 December 2006 Posted 14 December 2006 I bet! Perhaps I'll give him another chance to improve on his behaviour before resorting to such extreme methods I imagine your kindness will always show through - it would go with the laughlines I mentioned elsewhere.
cisono Posted 15 December 2006 Posted 15 December 2006 I imagine your kindness will always show through - it would go with the laughlines I mentioned elsewhere. Thanks Thracian I am probably just a bit empathic: I always put myself in other people's shoes for some reason (mine are usually a bit uncomfortable: sore feet and all that ). And, the moment you do that, you cannot really get be too harsh on others (as you can see many reasons for their otherwise-weird-appearing or seemingly "wrong" behaviours). PS FTers: This is not a licence to be nasty to me btw (just thought I'd cover myself)

Many moons ago I had a girlfriend who was always falling in love with her medical lecturers. Christmas time they had to form a queue.
