Brummie-FOX Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 rain rain go away ... Please, let the game take place. i hope the rain does go away i really do hope that the game does go ahead if it doesnt it will be real gutting for the people who left at about 9am on foxtravel to get to southampton I hope we play. We always do well in ridiculously wet conditions on the South Coast. sorted c'mon rain go away, we want sun now i worked this morning for nothing otherwise yay BLUE ARMY!!! What are your thoughts now?? <_<
lcfc_jme Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 can you explain why are we suddenly 'fooking useless' when we lose our first game in 5? I'm sure you weren't saying the same after we beat Wolves, Barnsley and Hull. We never win in Southampton, and judging by their form and players we weren't going to start today. Haha was just making a bit of a grumpy post without thinking about what went into it (as I do pretty often anyway ) sorry Fair point on the first loss in 5 comment and probably the Wolves, Barnsley and Hull thing (though I wasn't saying we were brilliant or the best team in the league either!). I was just probably a little pissed off that we're giving them the game on a plate when we have battled well in our last 4 games. Possibly a bit of blind optimism and hope that we'd do the same again today
MC Prussian Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 What are your thoughts now?? <_< At such a late point, an abandoned game would result in no replay. Still 2-0 for Southampton.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 What are your thoughts now?? <_< That we would not be winning if the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.
C-man Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 What are your thoughts now?? <_< We'd lose anyway. Could have done with the rest though, like Cobbo said.
morris1234 Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 anyone got a season ticket to throw it worked for borough they had a great turnaround after that
Leicester Lass Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 We'd lose anyway. Could have done with the rest though, like Cobbo said. But if we'd had a rest, what excuse would Kelly use on Monday?
morris1234 Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 whats our record for most pages on a match thread??
JoeyB Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 But if we'd had a rest, what excuse would Kelly use on Monday? that the journey down to southampton and back completley knocked the players senses out so they werent prepared properly or something like that

Simi Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 But if we'd had a rest, what excuse would Kelly use on Monday? He'd think of something !
Brummie-FOX Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 whats our record for most pages on a match thread?? Much much more than this
MC Prussian Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 Oooh... our second corner! Spec-tac-u-lar!
JoeyB Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 whats our record for most pages on a match thread?? i just asked that on comenetary "leicester 2nd corner today porter is short then the other person laughs i didnt mean it that way"
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 But if we'd had a rest, what excuse would Kelly use on Monday? The lads were disappointed the match didn't go ahead. They were raring to go. Myself and Stowelly were well up for it too and the fans had turned out in good numbers. We could really have done with the match practice before this tough game against a very good Sunderland team. The pitch was playable. It wouldn't have suited our total football style but the conditions were still good enough to knock it about a bit. I am disappointed with the referee's decision and the effect it has had on the game today, which we were again unlucky to lose 13-0.
C-man Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 But if we'd had a rest, what excuse would Kelly use on Monday? He won't need one because I think we'll win.
lcfc_jme Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 I wasn't having a pop mate, I just don't understand City fans' fickle-ness. It's not like we're even good. Didn't assume you were, simply gave you the explanation you wanted from me Nah it isn't , which is why we get so carried away with 3 wins and a draw in 4 games. More so after our form in November!!

Leicfox Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 We await the excuses about the conditions but its the same teams and it seems it should of suited us more reading some posts on here. Performance sounds pathectic so far.
