D4 Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 hes the man! his half time comedy! he should have a prime time spot on saturday night tv. If the BBC did come in for him, leicester wud sell him in an instant
Jonesy_rules Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 agree he is funny, but doesn't deserve a TV spot, and don't think they could sell him! However i feel this thread could just be an attempt to up your post count! i stand to be proven corrected!
D4 Posted 6 January 2005 Author Posted 6 January 2005 well i was making 2 points. alan birchenall is something to be proud of and Leicester sell everything and anything thats good. post counts, surely the more u have the sadder u are tho?

Birchenall is brutally honest, and hes got the quick wit to go with it
BartonFox Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 He's and idiot and should have been booted out during the Administration period. End of.
Cat Burger Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 He's so funny, when I'm working at the ground and I talk to him or hear him talk, he has a mouth like a toilet. It's bizzare to hear him swear
dan_84 Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 How can anyone say Birch isnt funny did anyone hear him during halftime against QPR it was hillarious. the man is a legend
stez Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 alan birchenall is the only good thing called alan birchenall to be honest i don't understand the dissing he gets (mostly from the moaners on another board) he makes me chuckle he's easy on the brain he does a good job and he loves lcfc. what do these people want a half time? a chris morris satire?

Don't need to listen to that self obsessed tool drivel on like he's on Sundy Night at the Palliadium. Him, Henry and the PA Announcer would be out the door straight after Paul Mace if I had my way.
Mark Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 Henry and the PA Announcer definately, but not Birch. Half time is sometimes more entertaining than the game - but that doesn't take a lot the way we are playing.
Solihullfox Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 Birch was on form at half time against Q.P.R , he could have been even funnier if he'd used the format they used at Loftus Road this season. For those that didn't go the aim was still to score from about 30 yards out but the participants had to run round and round a post in the ground until they were dizzy, then try to score, very funny !
BartonFox Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 That's is the funniest thing ever, they've been doing at QPR for a good couple of years now. Apparently it go so popular with the crowd the halftime concession sales dipped as people were staying in their seat to watch it.
stez Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 What's wrong with the PA announcer? 52492 he's not mel. thats enough for some people.
Mark Posted 6 January 2005 Posted 6 January 2005 What's wrong with the PA announcer? 52492 he's not mel. thats enough for some people. 52516 Well, both were bad. The way he reads the team out is terrible. An announcers voice can help build the game up, i'm sure the fans that go to away games will notice this has more effect than at home
Little Nicky Posted 7 January 2005 Posted 7 January 2005 I freeking hate how he goes; "the fourth official has indicated 2 minutes, 2 MINUTES!"or however many minutes it is, really gets on my arse that does!
Muz Posted 7 January 2005 Posted 7 January 2005 And when he says ' Now welcome the Ball boys from the youth academy' Although he got it wrong on Monday But was thee another PA announcer at Full Time reading out the Final scores?
Jonesy_rules Posted 7 January 2005 Posted 7 January 2005 Birch shouldn't be on TV, he'd be lost! although he was funny, at the sporting dinner i went to, he wasn't the same as at the games! imo!
