Milan Mandaric was at the training ground today, my brother is in academy and he saw him.

Will he be at the game today?

Most likely. Maybe he will come on the pitch at half time

If he can play up front he can come on at the beginning for me

Maybe it was an impersonator then... or just one of his laywers that wears the same style coat and drives a bently to. I wasn't there, my brother was on the far pitch.

Maybe they were thinking "hmmm we'll need to upgrade this." :P

Did he have a bloke from Barret Homes with him and a tape measure?

Wouldnt surprise me if a new owner was having a tour of Club facilities and meeting the set up at Belvoir Drive, talk to staff and players etc...

Good to note he was there and I hope he took note of Andy King. There were enough sceptics around when Levi appeared on the scene and there's certainly no clamour yet for King or Dodds.

But midfielder King's two headed goals took him to six for the season if memory serves which suggests he's kept himself fit over Christmas and as for Dodds, who had yet another idle afternoon, perhaps one of Mandaric's first jobs might be to persuade our esteemed manager to give him a chance.

I reckon Dodds would have snapped up at least three or four goals from the chances which have fallen to Fryatt lately because it's hard to remember Dodds ever missing so many easy opportunities one after the other. And Dodds won't hesitate to give a pass, providing, of course, that he's fit.

I do worry about him though. Unlike Cadamarteri he's not a guy who is immediately appreciated. He's not an eyecatcher.

Leicester fans aren't noted for being especially patient with emerging Academy players. How many stayed silent when Levi disappeared from our team for a month and how many declared he was not strong enough, not big enough, not this, not that whenever he had a less than good game.

And what bothers me is that if Dodds doesn't get an early chance or two when, and if, his chance comes, they'll lose patience instead of having faith in the guy.

We don't have too many people who could score 15 goals a season - but he's one.

Many fans will be so pleased with today's performance they won't see the need for changes. But, once more we conceded two goals. Once more our midfielders failed to score. Once more our strikers missed excellent chances. And there were other things.

Today was encouraging - a much needed tonic. A stepping stone maybe to better things.

I was at the training ground for the Academy matches and didn't see Mandaric today. Martin George and Andrew Taylor were there and left in George's flashy motor but didn't see Mandaric although I wasn't particularly looking out for him.
