MC Prussian Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Keith Gillespie - red card against him after just ten seconds on the pitch. Elbowing. Ouch.
Wils Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Didnt Vinnie Jones get sent off inside a minute once?
Simi Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Didnt Vinnie Jones get sent off inside a minute once? I remember him getting booked after 3 seconds.
Jay Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Keith Gillespie - red card against him after just ten seconds on the pitch. Elbowing. Ouch. And Colin sent off for fighting as the bench erupted in violence!!
lildave3 Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 And Colin sent off for fighting as the bench erupted in violence!! Good. Don't like either of 'em.
Leonisco Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Good. Don't like either of 'em. Same here. Gillespie was a lazy cvnt while he was here and Warnock is ... well Warnock.
lcfc_jme Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Haha gona have to see this on Match Of The Day later 10 seconds?? What a complete muppet!!
Flynny Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Same here. Gillespie was a lazy cvnt while he was here and Warnock is ... well Warnock. I don't think he was lazy all the time. He was probably something like what Gareth Williams is now except a shade better - skilled, occasionally great, often anonymous. If he was really that bad a footballer he wouldn't be playing in the Premiership fairly regularly.

You avin' a larf He was utter shite for us, yes he may have played pretty well this season, but at City he was fookin' tosh.
Tommeh Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 You avin' a larf He was utter shite for us, yes he may have played pretty well this season, but at City he was fookin' tosh. scored one beauty against west ham, but was very hit and miss, high wages probably meant that at the time CL had no choice.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 I never rated him but then we were in the Premiership when we signed him. Different game innit. And we seem to get worse and worse, rendering players previously thought to be a pile of shite, actually fairly good in comparison to the dogwank we have to put up with these days.
lookwhaticando Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Keith > Momo > Josh If only he was a bit cheaper, we could have kept him. Better on the wing than the other two 'wingers' we had.
lildave3 Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 You avin' a larf He was utter shite for us, yes he may have played pretty well this season, but at City he was fookin' tosh. Definately, give me Williams over Gillespie anyday

Can't say I disagree with that post. I think I only saw Sylla playing well for us one time - against Celtic in that friendly. Other than that I didn't think he was up to much. As for Josh Low - I don't think I ever saw him play well for us. The first game he played for us this season I thought he was the next big thing because he tried to get at the defence and put the ball across. But he failed to produce the goods. Miserably.

He looked the shit in his first appearance for us because he was replacing a shit RW (Maybury). I could look good in my first game at RW if I was replacing a RB in that position!

I think that's a little harsh on Momo, he had at least 3 or 4 good games I remember his league debut v Sheff U on tele, and i thought he looked good, then again in the return fixture that we won 4-2. Also, i thought he looked decent against Villa this season aswell. He is one of those players that would do better in the prem than in this league, as odd as it may sound.
lildave3 Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Just saw it, what was he thinking?! And then going to him after he'd been given his marching orders Wally Downes though Should have landed one on Warnock
lcfc_jme Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 Saw it on Match Of The Day. Contact wasn't that bad but it's still ludicrous for a professional footballer. It is common knowledge that you cannot react in that way in a football match. Complete plank Warnock should have been lamped though that would have been hilarious.
Thracian Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 Looking at his style, I hope Gillespie doesn't ever try that against Ricky Hatton. Mind you, he'd only throw the one blow - and that would never arrive!
Joe. Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 What an idiot Gillespie is. Oh well, made some good viewing on MOTD last night and made me laugh
Brummie-FOX Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 I actually felt sorry for Warnock when he got pushed. There he was having a drink peacefully (makes a change) and all of a sudden the Reading ass. manager comes over and pushes him.
MC Prussian Posted 21 January 2007 Author Posted 21 January 2007 I actually felt sorry for Warnock when he got pushed. There he was having a drink peacefully (makes a change) and all of a sudden the Reading ass. manager comes over and pushes him. It was looming inside of him for a long time. I think the combined angry thoughts of every Warnock-hater poured into his mind at that particular moment, leaving him unable to control the sudden urge. And BANG! Warnock became aware of the fact that he was a simple human being, after all.
