D4 Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 i bet the sheffield wednesday fans celebrated for a week non-stop when they sold pressman (and i bet the team bus was able to travel 10mph faster without him on it). Ive seen a goat use a calculator better than kevin pressman keeps goal. Insert derogative phrases here:
Muz Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 Wednesday fans were not happy , and they wanted to keep him. He had a good few years there and they see him as a legend. My best mate was pissed off when he left , now he still thinks he's a legend but he teks piss cos he's on our wage bill
D4 Posted 13 January 2005 Author Posted 13 January 2005 i spose he is a legend to them cus of a few saves over the years and that he's been there for X amount of years too! but look how many divisions they went down with him between the sticks. im not solely blaming him for their demise but...... Actually... I AM!
Muz Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 He did very well for Wednesday and was very close to an England call up in the late 90's.He was no way near to blame for the relegations for Wednesday. He was a great servent and he enjoyed succes there
D4 Posted 13 January 2005 Author Posted 13 January 2005 yeh i rememeber watching him in the 90's. he must suceeded Chris woods! No doubt he trained with him. but then one day... he turned up to work FAT and clumsy. AT leasy Neville Southall wasnt the latter
Ash Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 He is a legend for Wednesday , I'm sure he will return to them as a coach someday
Solihullfox Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 We should all send his name through to Celebrity Fit Club. He may actually move slower than Andy Fordham.

Solihullfox Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 And another thing, the thread is a bit disparaging towards Eldorado after all at least IT got better towards the end of it's time in the limelight.
D4 Posted 13 January 2005 Author Posted 13 January 2005 He is a legend for Wednesday , I'm sure he will return to them as a coach someday 54448[/snapback] legend, myth , same thing

D4 Posted 13 January 2005 Author Posted 13 January 2005 not really...myths are stories/rumours that have never actually been proved to have happened... legends on the other hand are real.. That is completely wrong. hey cool ur from denmark? euro 92!!! laudrup, jensen, poulson. magic

Who ate all the pies? Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 You'd need a truck to turnover Pressman!
Little Nicky Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 I must be alone here as no-one else has said anything about it, but when I saw Tim Flowers depart from being our goalkeeping coach for Man City i was gutted! Then we got that other guy in who fell under the axe when Micky left, and I was pleased as I saw an opening for Pressman to step up into that role for us perhaps next season! Does anybody else think he will / want him to?

Jonesy_rules Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 Pressman is a good keeper, both for us and for Wednesday! I remember a few years back, was a nice sunny day, Saturday afternoon, me nad my dad drove to sheffield in the hope of getting a ticket, which we did! Was the last game of the season! we were first into the ground, went to the pub full of wednesday fans, all of whom were polite! At the game saw US get stuffed 4-0 and it was the year Wednesday got relegated from the Premiership! Good and bad times!
