At matches at the Walkers if most people are against Kelly, why do I hear the "Theres only one Rob Kelly" chants? And its not just a few people chanting it because its fairly loud, I admit it has quietened down recently but I can still hear it.

I don't think Kelly should be in charge. When this chant goes round the Walkers, I join in with the whole thing minus Rob Kellys name. I refuse to sing it and feel embarrassed that other people want to sing it while we're in this mess and we're drawing with an average Luton team or struggling to break down a piss-poor Cardiff side. Same with "Rob Kellys Blue + White army". I do the second part not the first. Poor.

I don't believe we will go down! RK will stay till the end of the season!

There are too many worse teams than us and that's saying something i know!

Leeds

Southend

Barnsley

Hull

All Will finish below LCFC so i know we are crap, but just not that bad

But that's the problem we still have to play these teams who are starting to improve slowly.

It's really close and anyone can get sucked into the bottom three quite quickly.

I hate it when people say that, It's like we're highly superior and much better than other teams in this league. Look once upon a time we WERE better than teams in this league, we WERE better than Luton, but we are in this league for a reason, we are in this posistion for a reason, and I don't know how you can blame RK, because we we're in the league and this downward spiral well before RK was the manager, Yes he hasn't made any improvment but you say it asif its his fault we are in this league, asif it's his fault we can't attract better players, his fault we havn't got any money, and so on.

Hey people, We have a new era coming with MM, BUT stop living in the past, We were a good team once upon a time, but we are in this league and this downward spiral for a reason, and until players, and fans realise it we ain't gonna make improvement!

You think that I'm living in the past? Funny. I'm not. I'm living well and truly in the here and now. We're shit - I accept that. We deserve to be in this league - I accept that. We deserve to be in the position we're in - I accept that as well. I know we were in a downward spiral before Kelly came in, and I have blamed managers for our perilous position since this started.

You don't know how I can blame Rob Kelly for any of this seasons mishaps? Then maybe you don't follow all of our games and haven't seen many of our performances. Kelly has sent out spineless defensive team after spineless defensive this season, trying to play for draws and hope he can nick something rather than trying to go out and beat teams. The tactics he employs on a regular basis are negative and serve no purpose in trying to win a football match. He likes his team to play the entire 90 minutes as though they are defending a 1-0 lead in the last 5 minutes of a cup final. Hardly going to win us many games is it? I'd also like to say that some of the selections in personnel Kelly has made this season have been a joke as well. Why he persists with Johnson I'll never know. I wouldn't even want to know. And also, the drivel Kelly constantly spouts to the media leading up to games, then the same old nonsensical excuses he gives after every performance leave me wanting to shoot him. It leaves little to be desired and his predictability really frustrates the life out of me.

Sure, the players should take responsibility for not getting results as well, but they're hardly likely to get results when they are being somewhat restricted by negative, boring approaches to games.

How you can say we won't make any improvements until fans stop living in the past is a complete joke. The fans haven't put us into this mess - the board, players and management have.

First of all I don't see how these sides have been improving

We played a v. bad Leeds, Barnsley, and southend and beat them all, Hull we have 1 win and loss againt!

We are not getting any worse, if anything scince RK brought in the loans we at least have players in the correct positions(Maybury at Left back?)

We are awful and still 5 point above this lot!

We will see

I'm not saying we are going down, but it is very close.

Hull and Southend are actually doing alright at the minute and we have to play them away which won't be easy. Also we have Leeds and QPR at home in the same week and it isn't often we put two important wins together over a short space of time.

In a league based on current form, over the last 8 games Leeds, Hull and Southend are above us and Barnsley are level.

Firstly, My post was also tongue in cheek, Commenting on the amount of fickle fans that come and go on here. When we win one or two it's like we're top of the league when we lose a few (And yes at this current time we quite rightly should be worried about the threat of relegation) but it goes from one extreme to the other in a matter of half a week sometimes...Infact make that half a day.

Secondly, See my first point, I have stated that at this moment in time on our current form relegation is a threat we should be worried about!

And thirdly, At matches at the Walkers if most people are against Kelly, why do I hear the "Theres only one Rob Kelly" chants? And its not just a few people chanting it because its fairly loud, I admit it has quietened down recently but I can still hear it.

Cheering Kelly is perfectly understandable.

I don't see why the vast majority of fans should want him to fail. Even if some of disagree with his pinch one and "win ugly" approach to so many matches doesn't mean we want his approach to fail.

So we cheer him just the same as we cheer players who would not be our choices for the first team as well.

Afterwards is a different matter - people will always have their own views on the good and bad of what happened but in listening to and sympathising with all the criticism of RK I've still to hear the name mentioned of anyone willing to come here who would categorically be a better and more exciting manager and who would be worth the risk at this time.

I don't want Kelly swopped for the sake of it or for another "win ugly" specialist.

I want a person of vision and imagination, a communicator and someone who inspires people to be the very best they can be.

Reading provide a good, attainable idea of what I mean. Hardly a team of household names. But they still had five men driving into the penalty box in a Premiership game and driving with obvious belief and determination. Not ambling or labouring.

I personally don't think Rob can take us any further forward.

HOwever I do still chant his name - as Tharc said, you get behind whatever current starting 11 is out, so why should you not get behind the manager during the game also.

Jame I really don't see you point when you say you chant the chant but leave Rob's name out>??!?? Would you not agree this is negativity?

I suspect that the game yesterday is largely what Kelly has been after since day one. A side that mostly kills the game in centre midfield and relies on the wings for creativity (look at the number of wingers he's tried to pull in). And then, as you put it, has "men driving into the penalty box ... and driving with obvious belief and determination. Not ambling or labouring."

We'll see. Or not, as the case may be.

 ermm yeah I'd say it was showing a little negativity there's no point denying that - it certainly doesn't show support, which is what, as a fan, I'm there to do. Though in my defence, I'm still contributing to the noise factor in the ground by singing the majority of the song anyway. I just replace Kellys name with a random word :P;)

I just can't bring myself to shout and chant Rob Kellys name. It's blatant hypocrisy. Look at my avatar and the writing underneath it. I've made my feelings on Kelly quite clear by now with my posts - but I defended him greatly earlier in the season when everybody was calling for him out.

Theres no way we will be relegated... we are simply too good and when Milan takes over, we should be able to build up a decent squad with a good manager. Also another fact to take into consideration is that Leicester have NEVER been relegated out of the top two divisions ever in their history so I certainly dont want to see them going down and they wont.

Yes, sack Kelly... he's not managing to do well enough with the players that he's got... we should be a safe mid-table and get Milan in as we really need his financial backing... you never know, we might do a Derby next year though of course, we would do better than them in the Premiership... 20th with only 5 points... what a joke Derby are! :D

That may be a fact but it has absolutely nothing to do with whether we can or cannot avoid relegation and is therefore not a valid consideration in any way shape or form in any debate on the subject. As proud as we all might be about it.

The Ipswich result has rekindled my faith that we can get enough surprise results between now and the end of the season to just about keep us up.
