Milky Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Lord Nibblington has gone a bit quiet! what was it? we're gonna get cained twice you say?
Milky Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I said this for the last final, and I'll say it again now - we're going to get beat. Probably badly. Australia will want revenge and they won't want to lose this tournament, especially to us. shame on you
Matt Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 ENGLAND, ENGLAND, ENGLAND...ENGLAND, ENGLAND, ENGLAND....ENGLAND, ENGLAND, ENGLAND, ENGERLAND... We've Won. Right lets start the e-mail wars! WE ARE ARMY, THE BARMY ARMY!

I suppose as Leicester fans we're all pessimistic at one time or another, I'll put it down to that!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Leicester win at Portman Road. England win a one-day series in Australia. What the f**k is going on? :w00t:

dandannieldanok Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Great result this may be but it cannot detract from the woeful Ashes performance. Even the most patriotic England fans would agree in saying the Ashes is 100 times more important than this tri-series.
Samu Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 5-0 That was a great result for Southend on Friday, I agree
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 That was a great result for Southend on Friday, I agree Indeed. Good for us anyway
lildave3 Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Easy! Easy! Easy! We're the best in the world, we're going to win the world cup. Give them all knighthoods. Not getting carried away here, honest
Lord Nibblington Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Lord Nibblington has gone a bit quiet! what was it? we're gonna get cained twice you say? I'm glad we won. But it is papering over the cracks of what has been, an awful, awful tour. And the fact that our one day form, last 4 games aside has been poor for a very long time. We'll see which England turns up for the World Cup.
lildave3 Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Leicestershires very own. He must have made all the difference
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Leicestershires very own. <_< MONTY! MONTY! MONTY!
Craig Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 <_< MONTY! MONTY! MONTY! Oh, didn't spot Monty. Let me edit it, since i'm a N'hants boy.
lcfc_jme Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Well that's that then! A completely awful side has transformed itself in recent weeks, beaten the Aussies 3 times, won against New Zealand and earned itself some silverware! 4 wins on the bounce was unimaginable not so long ago! I just hope that we won't change the side too much when we go to the World Cup, as this is a youthful side who are gelling well together and have momentum. Why do we seem to have better batting quality when KP isn't playing?!?!
Flynny Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 After all too often getting up in the morning, switching on Sky Sports and finding out we've been skittled for 120 all out or something ridiculous, both in the Test Series and the ODIs, I'm pleased, proud and relieved after this. Some payback for staying up through the night during some of the dismal test series. KP should definately come back, as should Anderson. But should Vaughan? His one-day batting isn't too great and Flintoff has shown he can captain the side.

Why do we seem to have better batting quality when KP isn't playing?!?! I said that the other day. When I was in Australia there was big thing about the only player the Aussies rated was KP, However he wasn't a team player. Since he has left we have improved tremendously, Coincidence? Also, Does anyone know what the music is called when the scorecard comes up or slow motion highlights are shown on Sky Sports?

With KP out the responsibility has moved to the rest of the batting line up to get his runs. There is a tendancy with england to over rely on KP, but without him it really puts the focus onto others to make up for his absence. one things for sure, any side with KP in it is an improved one. on the music issue, it's really nice, and i'd love to know the name aswell.
lcfc_jme Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I'd also like to make reference to that catch by a certain Jamie Dalrymple was it? Absolutely brilliant. Took it superbly flying away to his left with his weaker hand. Sheer brilliance.
