Candidcamera Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 No not this one. He has no physical element to his game.
Bluefoxtim Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 type of player where if he plays well, he plays REALLY well, if he plays poorly, he plays REALLY poorly
Aeropars Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 Good player. Shows lack of first team experience but also shows a good potential. Needsto be more clinical when taking corners as he tried to whip them in A LA Giggs.
intruderalert Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 I'm not from round here (thus the username) but have followed yeates' career with interest. he can play in both wide positions and behind the main striker, he is a very intelligent user of the ball with other quick witted players around him (horse ) Martin Jol told him he was in his plans and gave him a 2 year contract, but this season has been awful for him, he ended last season with a dislocated shoulder when on loan at Colchester, from a celebration i believe (ala Steve Morrow) and so started this season very late, and has struggled to get fit, being hampered with lots of niggles. he was then loaned out to Hull to get fully fit, but they were in a transition period, with Parkinson (the man who bought him on loan to Colchester) getting sacked. and he struggled to get fit, and thus wasn't picked, when the new man came in. so Spurs chose to recall him. he then came back to spurs and has been working hard to get fit, he player a couple of Ressie games, before being loaned out to you. this run of games he has had for you is the most games he has played in a row this season. i expect in about a month you will see the real Yeates. and hopefully, Milan will leave empty handed if any offers come in... anyway Dowie might not like him

Babylon Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 How the hell can he be good after todays performance!! Slow, weak, poor passing. He added a couple of good crosses and that was it all game.
Aeropars Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 If everyone else was faultless I'd agree... tut
Babylon Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 If everyone else was faultless I'd agree... tut Did I say anyone was faultless? ...tut. EVERYONE was prety poor today despite the scoreline.
Aeropars Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 When were celibrating a champions league spot can we all be happy??!
Bluefoxtim Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 If everyone else was faultless I'd agree... tut Mate, with every post you are trying to make out that you are in the majority of views. Well your not, quite the opposite in fact.
Independiente Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Did I say anyone was faultless? ...tut. EVERYONE was prety poor today despite the scoreline. Yeah, especially Henderson, McAuley and Kisnorbo.
Bluefoxtim Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 When were celibrating a champions league spot can we all be happy??! You don't get it do you? We were in the premiership and we had success. Yes we have gone backwards and are now in a very different situation. You telling us we should not aspire to get back to where we were?
Babylon Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 When were celibrating a champions league spot can we all be happy??! Do you mean we're? Yes you can celebrate. I will when people land from cloud cuckoo land.
Babylon Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007  Yeah, especially Henderson, McAuley and Kisnorbo. I hope that was sarcastic.... "McAuley and Kisnorbo" were shocking. Especially first half, Adebola had control all of that half.
Independiente Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 I hope that was sarcastic.... "McAuley and Kisnorbo" were shocking. Especially first half, Adebola had control all of that half. All things being relative, we can only beat what's put in front of us with the resources we've got. It's all very clever saying we were poor when we've just stuffed a really bad team 3-0 but the fact is that we got the job done and played some really neat stuff in the first half. Tailed off second half but the main thing was that we didn't let them back into the game. McAuley and Kisnorbo rarely looked troubled. Adebola had control of what exactly? They had no chances at all. He won a few balls about 30 yards out but he didn't have a sniff of a goal.
Babylon Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Did I say we didn't beat what was in front of us? We were poor and Cov were a lot worse end of. "Adebola had control of what exactly?" Errrr the ball all of the first half, our defence daren't tackle the bloke, anything cov did that was good came from his knock downs or his control first half. If you think we looked solid at the back then you must think diariara looks solid.

If you think we looked solid at the back then you must think diariara looks solid. They did f**k all from it. He's a big bloke, he's bound to win a few headers and hold the ball up. He had a pretty good first half, but what good is a centre-forward winning a few balls 30 yards out if his team don't create anything from it? If you thought that was bad I'm surprised you didn't kill yourself after the Sunderland game.
Jon the Hat Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Who are all these people? Come on here, questioning the regulars... We'll be found out at this rate...
Babylon Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 He had a pretty good first half So you agree then... SO STOP SPOUTING SHIT!!! FFS.
Babylon Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 his team don't create anything from it? Yeah we looked soooo solid all game.
Independiente Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 So you agree then... SO STOP SPOUTING SHIT!!! FFS. What the fock? I never said he didn't have a good first half, I disputed that McAuley and Kisnorbo were "poor". Calm down love.
Babylon Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 What the fock? I never said he didn't have a good first half, I disputed that McAuley and Kisnorbo were "poor". Calm down love. Maybe they should go on a "how to tackle" course.
