Sooper Steve's shin Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Good to hear the legend Stevie Walsh on RL last weekend. He still seems to have a real passion for Leicester and it sounded like he would jump at the chance to link up again. He also mentioned that he was mates with Rob Kelly - if that's true, surely RK knows how the fans rate him and there must be a coaching role for him. If nothing else, with Stowell and Walshy on our bench no-one would mess with us!

If he has the skill to do the job, then fair enough!

THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 They could invite him in behind the scenes from time to time on a saturday afternoon to show the boys what it means to wear the leicester shirt before kick-off...
Ric Flair Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Is he still doing the golfing holidays in Spain? He seems to be back here quite often for the City games. I've seen him at about 4 since xmas!
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 They could invite him in behind the scenes from time to time on a saturday afternoon to show the boys what it means to wear the leicester shirt before kick-off... Yeah too right
Wezleylowski Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 we could use walshy as a threat and say if they dont put in an up to par performance then walshys gonna give em a shoe in after the game. 100% every game if they saw im play
Ajax Treesdown Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 He has just bought a house in Kibworth. The old train station development, Isabel Lane I think. He is back in town!!!
lookwhaticando Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Walsh was seen in the crowd of the Foxes' FA Cup 3rd round replay defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage. After the crowd sung songs about him, he joined in with the singing, and was seen singing various songs throughout the match. His Golfing holiday website hasn't been online for a few days now at least. SteveWalshGolf.com Planning to return to the football world, perhaps?

If nothing else, with Stowell and Walshy on our bench no-one would mess with us! Strong Centre-Halves are doing well in management these days, especially in our division as the like Steve Bruce, Tony Mowbray, Mick McCarthy, George Burley (not that big ) continue to impress with there sides well placed for promotion. I always thought that Walshy would make a great manager or even coach as not many people would mess with him and he would command respect from the get go. The only thing is that if he is mates with RK, surely he would have bought Walshy back to us before now?? Im going to totally contradict my thoughts on an inexperienced manager coming in if RK goes by saying that I would love SW to come in and manage the club, never mind help coaching. Anyone who was that good a defender and played under some good managers must have something to give?
Webbo Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 the problem with Walshy is he thinks with his pr1ck, i wouldn't trust him near a ripe water melon.
Newcastle_Fox Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 we could use walshy as a threat and say if they dont put in an up to par performance then walshys gonna shag their wife/girlfriend after the game. 100% every game if they saw im play Editted
James. Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 I would cream myself if Steve Walsh returned to City. I'd be a little concerned if he bowled in as manager but any other position... get him in!!

Or a defensive coach who teaches his defenders how to attack... that'd be pretty neat.
