davieG Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 City Support Mellow Yellow Friday Leicester City are backing Leicester Hospitals Charity 2007 Medical Equipment Appeal. Mellow Yellow Friday is scheduled to take place on March 2 with individuals being urged to pay £1 to wear something yellow for the day. The Foxes are entering into the spirit and are keen to assist the Leicester Hospitals Charity in helping them reach their target of £150,000 to buy four pieces of state-of-the-art medical equipment for the University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL). UHL incorporates Leicester Glenfield Hospital, Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital. To show their support, City have agreed to sell the yellow third shirt at a special price of £8 up to and including March 2, 2007 with the club then donating £1 for every shirt sold to the appeal. Anyone wishing to purchase a shirt can do so via Mail Order or the City Megastore (0870 040 6000 Option 3) and should quote reference MY07.
MC Prussian Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Can't we just get rid of those ugly yellow shirts and promote a white one comes next season? Wait, I heard there's a "special offer"...
shen Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 They're horrible. Wouldn't even think of paying £8 for one of those. Give me the white or black away shirt anyday!
Nationwider Posted 20 February 2007 Posted 20 February 2007 Would the club agree to sell Elvis Hammond at the reduced price of £8 up until March 2, 2007 if he wore yellow?
