dandannieldanok Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 Tickets arrived today. They proper card tickets or actual credit-card style tickets like at Man City.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 They proper card tickets or actual credit-card style tickets like at Man City. Proper old school tickets. Massive they are too. Don't even fit in my pocket.
Tommeh Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 where'd you get tickets, I can't see them on FA website anywhere, they sold out I take it
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 where'd you get tickets, I can't see them on FA website anywhere, they sold out I take it Went on sale last week, sold out in around five hours I think, including the vast period of time when the website was down.
stripeyfox Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 How many tickets were available? Presumably not a full 98,000 capacity as it is a "ramp up" event?
Geo V Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 The mad rush for everyone to be able to say that they were the among the first to see the first official game of footy at the New Wembley! Madness! Ive heard tickets are trading for £500+ on the black market for this game. People must be absolutely mad.
Flexx Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 How many tickets were available? Presumably not a full 98,000 capacity as it is a "ramp up" event? The stadium only holds 90,000 so it would be tough getting in 98,000
stripeyfox Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 You are correct, seems 90,000 is closer to the mark.
davieG Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 How many tickets were available? Presumably not a full 98,000 capacity as it is a "ramp up" event? 60,000
Flexx Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 BBC news got it wrong then, they said the game was a 90,000 sell out. typical BBC do they ever get anything right?
Joe. Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 I know everyone is going for the occassion and rightly so but I just thought I'd mention that the England U-21's are actually quite poor. They get the ball in defence and just hoof it forward. Much like watching Leicester really... <_<
Leicester City F C Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Not going on Saturday. Went Community Day last Saturday and it is an amazing stadium. Looking forward to Brazil and Germany.

lcfc_jme Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 The stadium looks very impressive. I for one won't be making the trip there on Saturday as I have no ticket, but I look forward to attending many England games there in the future, as well as some Leicester games as well ( ).
Geo V Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Beautiful. Well worth the 15 years and £2billion it cost to make!
