Although if bird flu hits, it'll be people like Cisono who'll die!!

The same happened with the great 1919 flu. It killed mainly 18-30 year olds... because it was the bodies over reaction to the virus that killed them. Those with a weak immune system (very young/vey old) escaped as their immune system wasn't strong enough to kill them, hence they just got slighty ill!!

Think on that!!! :(:unsure::mellow:

Thats why you young un's should always wear flu socks and chew an asprin before the flu. :)

Dr Wils busy at the moment so I thought I'd ask for a few more details in the meantime...

Where is it sore exactly?

Is it more towards the outside edge of your calf, just below the knee?

Or just behind your knee, in the middle? (And if so, is it a bit swollen there)

the back of the knee

Middle right, no swelling, a tad bit of bruising tho not much

I'm having pains in the back of my right knee

every time i bend it a certain amount it kills

and its cramping up quite a bit too!!

DR Wils you advice please :P

That sounds like you have fluid on the knee. I have that from time to time if I bang my knee (one time I went to leave my house at uni and my shoelace was caught under my other shoe and my leg buckled, I had nothing to hold onto and just slowly fell out of the door, it must have looked like the funniest thing in the world).

Stab it.

Repeatedly.

That ought to drain the fluid. :)

Sometimes when Thracian posts, I get visions of a bloke in his mid 20s... forum posts mean nothing, obviously.

I think there's an injection you can have. Mine always goes away pretty quickly and I have more pressing medical issues that have taken precedent recently so I haven't been that bothered about it.

Same as anything really. If you're concerned, go to the doctor.
