Been there for about six weeks,

Went in my garden yesterday and realised it had gone. Gone, not STOLEN

Someone, I think Friday night, had came and taken it. We didn't want it though, it was no use.

Just to think that someone had came in our garden and taken something.. :o:angry:

Idiots.

Very true. I write quite a lot of unoccupied residential property pending letting/sale... one of the biggest risks with them is that people break in and steal all the copper pipework.

That boiler has been stolen to be scrapped.

Yup scrap copper is worth about 3 quid a kilo. Your dog has no head.........

... or knows how to make a quick buck. It was him, no doubt about it!!!

What do you mean by that? Surely it was stolen...

Or are you suggesting that it got fed up of waiting,

developed legs and walked off to the scrapyard on its own? :P

A good few years ago I bought a place and in amongst the crap in the back yard was some stinking old photocopier that was so old it took rolls of paper. Anyway I was doing up the garden over the next few months but left the copier on the side until I got round to disposing of it properly. After months of it being hit by the rain, sleet and snow, a mate talked me round into slinging it into an auction along with some other stuff we were selling. I somehow got £60 for it from some mug. Maybe you should have slung the boiler into an auction because people buy anything and everything!
