Libertine Posted 29 March 2007 Posted 29 March 2007 I'm fully peeded off tho, miss both the Brum and Norwich game and none are on TV They might do. They don't just have Sky Sports on they have their own stations that show random matches.

Trumpet Posted 29 March 2007 Posted 29 March 2007 I off there in 13 days and was just wondering: 1) any good places to visit near Paphos 2) what the drinking age is 3) is it nice and sunny around the mid April? 1) Full of history, the harbors good... been there about 5 years ago, cant remember alot tbh 2) Drinking age is possibly the same as here, but trust me youll get served - i did at the age of 14. 3) Sunny yes, tanning weather no. I went in May 2005, it was hot, 24c during the day but its a different kind of heat and it was tannable, but im not too sure about Arpil, may be a bit early. Oh and dont plan on going in the pool unless you really want to get hypothermia, it was absolutely freezing all day in May, cos by the time its heated in the evening - its cold again by night cos it can get abit chilly early on in the season. Whatever happens, enjoy it, im sure the weather will be warm / hot.

Full of old people. 2) It depends where you are. Limasol is full of younger people as is Napa and you can get away with having a drink if you are a little younger than you should be. the locals are friendly but money hungry and I should know because I am related to half the Island 3) Its far from peak but you may get about 22c/25c. It gets really hot from May to September. Try to get upto Larnaca as there is plenty of things to do there.
