I never said or implied that his contribution was massive at all - just that he made one, and in a winning team - which is more than Horsfield ever does, except for that memorable match against Coventry (I saw no contribution from him in the other win at Burnley). Like I've mentioned, its a pity we couldn't settle it by seeing how Dodds, Horsfield, Hammond and Fryatt fared over 20 championship games. I'd bet a good deal on Dodds finishing second at worst.

And we're never short of such energy at Leicester so there's no need for more anyway. And when did Horsfield do any running? Again, WTF has Geoff Horsfield go to do with anything. How many times have we had to have this debate Thracian? You've made your point clear. You rate Louis Dodds. You are entitled to your opinion, like others are entitled to theirs. Stats prove that Louis Dodds is hardly tearing it up in League Two. Ok, stats don't tell the whole story so i'll give you that. Hopefully Louis Dodds will become a success at League Two level and mince the goals in, but even if he does. It's still not proof he's good enough at this level, it would help him. But there are plenty of prolific scorers at League Two that are absolute barry at this level. Trevor Benjamin being one of them and if Louis Dodds ever scores 10-20 goals in the championship then i'd be very surprised. Let's put this debate to bed now please. You think he's got what it takes, Manwell and others think otherwise due to various reasons. Let's just wait and see. In a few years time you can gloat all you like if he's made it in The Championship and if he's at Oadby Town then Manwell can snigger for a month at your expense. It's got to the stage where we are going over older ground than Louis himself and it's soul destroying having to read it as a moderator on this site. Please Thrac, leave it alone. I hope Dodds turns out to be a wonderkid, i'd love that to happen. I think he deserves or deserved a chance here, but 75% of your posts about him aren't going to make that happen if our managers don't rate him. I don't think many people here would argue with you. Some might, fair enough - each to their own. But in each of your posts you seem to assume that we all love Horsfield.
