Lineker's Left Foot Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 In The Sun today, the middle spread had both info. about Man.Utd and Chelsea. On the one-side it asked which fans of particular clubs would support Man.Utd and our name was mentioned. Apart from the obvious regarding Chelsea's ability to win and that '96 FA Cup Q-F dive, why else would Leicester 'famously' hate Chelsea??
Stuliasz Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 I know there is history there somewhere because Chelsea have a song that involves Leicester that they sing regularly but don't ask me to quote what that is or why there is history. I'm sure someone on here will enlighten you.
l444ry Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 Sounds like the typical silly "make it up as you go along" garbage we all come to expect from the Sun.
Foxhateram Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 Sounds like the typical silly "make it up as you go along" garbage we all come to expect from the Sun. um didnt this come up a few months ago? while we were in the FA cup? i beleive the answer linked back to way way back in some pub brawls or something like that!
James. Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 This is one of those recurring threads. Basically comes down to a fair bit of fisticuffs "back in the day". Couple of hard firms liked to kick lumps of shit out of each other. Someone else will give you the details or refer back to an old thread (if they're still available).
hebangsthedrums Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 I think its because when Chelsea tried to sign Ronaldinho, Lineker told him Barcelona were a better bet
Tomassi Posted 17 April 2007 Posted 17 April 2007 In the 70's Leicester's 'Baby Squad' kicked the absolute sh!t out of the chelsea fans in their own backyard. They also did this to Leeds fans and many other clubs.
