3-2 away at Ross County.

Gretna has one point more than St. Johnstone which grants them automatic promotion to the highest Scottish football league for the first time ever.

Third successive promotion.

Get in!

Last minute winner to get promoted, is there a better way?

Well done Gretna, non league 5 years ago and now in the premiership

English non-league no less.

James Grady, scorer of the last minute goal, enjoying a post match cigarette.

Love it.

I think you'll find that Gretna are loathed by everyone in Scotland but the media and the 200 villagers that follow them.

Don't go falling for all this fairytale bollocks, they were a joke before Brookes Mileson turned up and they have spent millions doing so. There wage bill was higher than the bottom two divisions combined this season and they have bought their way through the divisions.

Everything people hate Chelsea down here for is the same up there for Gretna.

Everyone is looking foward to them going bust by Christmas next season as they are playing at Motherwell as their Topps Park style ground is being condemed and the Dumfries and Galloway council have refused them a new ground. When they die no one will miss them or their media whore of a manager or owner.

It is a sad day for the Scottish domestic game which is already a laughing stock

Thing is the cash they have spent is not anywhere near the ballpark of even the Edinburgh clubs. People will talk them up but realistically all they can hope for is a bottom six finish.

To be honest I'm just amused by James Grady smoking on the pitch while clutching the Div 1 trophy.

What is really chilling about that photo is that Brookes Mileson has been seriously ill due to him chain smoking.
