Matty Fryatts Form

I wish it were that simple.

Hume got 14 goals with the same poor service.

Difference is, though, Hume is a much better all round player and has the ability to create chances for himself. For example, look at both his goals against Southampton earlier in the season. The first one he received it with his back to goal about 40 yards out, took it past a few players and curled it in the top corner. His second a brilliant volley from about 25 yards that many other players wouldn't have attempted. Two goals completely of his own making.

Fryatt's not like that, he's more your fox-in-the box type player, and therefore he relies on the service he receives way more than Hume does.

Agree 100% and there's nothing wrong with that, except Fryatt lost the vital sharpness needed to be first to the ball and never looked as if he was regaining it except briefly around the time of the Colchester game.

He should have been coming off the bench and building his fitness and confidence back slowly but no....as usual both fans and management wanted him to run before he could walk properly.

So are you saying if he was fully fit you'd have him in the team? Cos it's not really his fault that his form's been poor if the management have been shoving him back in too early, is it.
