Mikey Posted 7 May 2007 Posted 7 May 2007 Let's get planning for next year. Who's going to The Valley. I am They lost to Spurs 2-0 tonight.
lildave3 Posted 7 May 2007 Posted 7 May 2007 Bummer, i've already been there <_< Still be good though, but it will not beat the Dion Dublin last minute goal Ah well, JJB next season
Mort Posted 7 May 2007 Posted 7 May 2007 Shame I wanted Pardew to stay up (Dont really give a sh*t bout Charlton... just wanted him to show WesHam up)... still I'll look forward to the trip now, hopfully Wigan can pull off a minor miracle and stay up at WestHam's expense

I'd rather go there than the JJB. Vicarage Road is shi*hole.

Mikey Posted 7 May 2007 Author Posted 7 May 2007 Yeah but we won there when I went too I've never been to any of the 5 teams involved in the relegation First time for everything though.
lookwhaticando Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 I think this picture - particularly the guy's top on the left - sums it up quite nicely.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 The Valley is a crap stadium and so is the JJB (although they will be 2 of the best probably in our league), would rather be going to Upton Park.
Wezleylowski Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 The Valley is a crap stadium and so is the JJB (although they will be 2 of the best probably in our league), would rather be going to Upton Park. If we get our anthem going by then we can outsing the cockneys anthem isnt it nice to dream
Geo V Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 The more London clubs the merrier, as it savesme a packet when it comes to following City and also allows me to enjoy a night out after the game! Charlton is a good club to go down because they will sell there better players and wont neccasarily be as difficult to beat as West Ham would have been.
Guest Gist Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 Upton Park isn't as good as I expected, very dull place. I'd sooner Wigan join Charlton, although it's a worse away game they are less of a threat to us gaining promotion compared to West Ham as apexgeo said.
DB11 Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 If I remember correctly they relegated us from the Prem (wer had to win and we drew 1-1) so I'm quite happy I laughed at their crying fans
potter3 Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 If I remember correctly they relegated us from the Prem (wer had to win and we drew 1-1) so I'm quite happy I laughed at their crying fans I thought it was Man City, when either Izzet or Dickov (Think it was Dockov though? ) missed a penalty?
Joe. Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 I'd love to go to Upton Park for an away game this year although it looks unlikely to happen. The JJB is a very poor ground in terms of support <_< Glad to be going to the Valley next season though

filbertway Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 I thought it was Man City, when either Izzet or Dickov (Think it was Dockov though? ) missed a penalty? Nope, that game about sealed it, but we could still mathematically escape, the charlton agme sent us down, i'm sure.

Joe. Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 Wasn't it the 2-2 draw when Les Scored and Nikos got sent off. Or the other way round. Can't really remember. No I think you're right there. I think Marcus Bent may have scored in that game too
Mark Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 No I think you're right there.I think Marcus Bent may have scored in that game too And a superb goal it was, outside of the boot curled it into the top corner from quite a distance as well IIRC.
lildave3 Posted 8 May 2007 Posted 8 May 2007 And a superb goal it was, outside of the boot curled it into the top corner from quite a distance as well IIRC. Ah yes it was a beaut. He was quality for us...
