Tevez Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Its rained since this morning where i live. Its really boring me. Is it raining wherever you are?
Micky Ruddle Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Yes son, i live in the same village, and i'm not happy with the weather. Cricket season aswell, and two weeks ago, i was loving it. But i can;t say that i am now!
Jay Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 it's been pi55ing it down in grantham all day rivers running down the roads and so on although it seems to have stopped a little now
dandannieldanok Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 No.It's delightfully sunny where I am. Bugger off
Wils Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Sunny Ipswich isnt very Sunny right now. Although its not all bad the rain is cleaning my car.
Tevez Posted 13 May 2007 Author Posted 13 May 2007 Good point Wils, Rain can have advantages such as cleaning cars, at least i dont have to go out and water my plant.
lildave3 Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Can't wait till i play football in this weather. I just have! Pointless game, who arranges a friendly when it's pissing it down.
AoWW Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 It's delightfully sunny where I am. I can go off people, you know. Still pissing it down in soggy Suffolk.
lookwhaticando Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 I can go off people, you know. Still pissing it down in soggy Suffolk.
Wils Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 I can go off people, you know. Still pissing it down in soggy Suffolk. Suffolk is very soggy.
Daggers Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 We went for a two hour walk in the rainy woods this morning - 'kin brilliant. Just look at the farce on Dartmoor, using helicopters to get the kids off it. Some people use any excuse to avoid living a lif, to avoid having fun...rain, fog, visibility and twenty seven escaped axe murderers. Pah! Embrace the rain.
lcfc_jme Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 I want to play football in this weather. Everyone does. It's the best type of weather to play in. Slide tackles go on for about 50m
Simi Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Everyone does. It's the best type of weather to play in. Slide tackles go on for about 50m Plus when you kick it the ball slides along the grass.
lcfc_jme Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Plus when you kick it the ball slides along the grass. Ermm.. Yeah, that's the best part about playing football in the rain.
Simi Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Ermm.. Yeah, that's the best part about playing football in the rain. When your passing is as slick as mine it only improves my game.
lcfc_jme Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 When your passing is as slick as mine it only improves my game. Doesn't matter. You can have your "slick, sliding passes". But when you're faced with a high paced super-sliding tackle, you're going nowhere fast and being absolutely crunched.
filbertway Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Rain is rubbish for playing football if you're a keeper, and it doesn't help when your a sh*t keeper either.
