Scarby Posted 9 February 2005 Posted 9 February 2005 He's on GO ON A.J!!! 64922 Yeah but why play him on the right hand side!! He is a target front man, balls should be put in the mixer for him not him banging them in for Owen
Nationwider Posted 9 February 2005 Posted 9 February 2005 Well I'm sure many people would question your assertion that Sven is a brilliant manager after tonights game...we saw the tactical genius that is Sven Goran Eriksson at his very best tonight. <_< 64959 Yup. The decision to waste AJ on the right for 45mins was utterly bizarre. Surely he should have taken Owen off? The whole thing was rubbish. What did we learn? Sod all. SVEN OUT. ALLERDYCE IN!!! The campaign starts here....
Scow Posted 10 February 2005 Posted 10 February 2005 Sven was asked the question: 'Don't you think it's unfair playing Johnson on the right?'' Sven: ''He was just happy to play.'' If you're not going to play him in his rightful position, don't play him at all. He might have enjoyed the fact he was playing for England, but no doubt felt uncomfortbale playing in that role.

He gets the results in the games that matter, so he does his job. If it would've been solely up to him, he probably wouldn't even have picked AJ at all for this game..
Bedford Fox Posted 12 February 2005 Posted 12 February 2005 he said AJ was happy to play there well of corse he is he is not going to turn round i say no cos he wants to play for his country but he is a STRIKER
Alexikokopops Posted 14 February 2005 Posted 14 February 2005 Johnson can do the job in FM2005, and that never lies:
