Paddy McCarthy is still presently the club captain. The hope is that this little fact changes soon, to usher in the new era. Whether McCarthy will continue as club captain remains to be seen. Not till July/ August I'd think I still see a lot of people walking around with Hume 8 on the current shirt suggesting its way after the shirt is released. As I recall from the start of last season, the players had the numbers on their kits on the first day of training in July... though the OS didn't publish the numbers for a couple of days after that.
